Nanxi Academy - Art-driven rural revitalization!

Nanxi Academy is located in the Shiwaiyan Scenic Area of Hesheng Town, Yongjia, Wenzhou, Zhejiang. It is a comprehensive building complex integrating an art gallery, artist studio, and artist sketching base. The main building of the academy covers an area of about 4,000 square meters and adopts a simple Chinese design style. The architectural design was selected for the 13th National Art Exhibition. With advanced supporting facilities and a well-established team, it is one of the important representatives of rural art galleries. The exhibition hall covers an area of about 800 square meters and is divided into two floors. The conference hall on the second floor is spacious and bright, and can be used for lectures, conferences, academic forums, and other activities. The tea room on the third floor is a great place to enjoy tea while admiring the view of Shiwaiyan outside the window. Nanxi Academy's international art exchange spaces are distributed in two villages, namely Ruoxi International Art Village and Weifeng Aesthetic Education Village. The villages are home to cultural exchange spaces such as an art library, tree method museum, calligraphy museum, gallery, cultural and creative museum, leaf and bark painting museum, mounting studio, mineral pigment studio, artist-in-residence studio, and sketching base.
