Fujian's Little Yili is a great place for hiking in the beautiful alpine meadows.

In Douhu Village, Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, there is an alpine meadow where cattle and horses 🐴 roam leisurely. The sea of clouds ☁️ and sunrise 🌅 are breathtaking, and the heavenly pool and starry sky are even more beautiful. This is a great place for beginners or families with children to hike and camp 🏕️. 🚦How to get there: Address: Douhu Village, Tai County, Fuzhou City Drive (use a navigation system and set the destination to Dayang Doushuai Temple in Putian), and park in the parking lot. 🗺️Hiking route: The whole route is about 13 km, starting from Dayang Doushuai Temple, passing through Chibi Douhu and Hamburger Rock, and finally returning to Dayang Doushuai Temple. ❓Hiking options: 1. Climb the mountain from Putian, starting from Dayang Doushuai Temple. This route is suitable for beginners. 2. Another route is to climb the mountain from Fuqing, navigate to Houxi Tourist Area, and then continue. This route is shorter, but the climb is steep and the road conditions are poor, so it is not recommended. ✅Essential equipment: Windbreaker, hiking shoes, trekking poles, water, food, power bank, headlamp. ❗Tips: 1⃣️It is recommended to travel with a companion, as the temperature difference between day and night is large, so remember to bring warm clothes. 2⃣️Cell phone signal may be poor along the way, so it is wise to download a map in advance. ⚠️Notes: ❶The cattle are free-range by local villagers and are usually docile and will not attack people as long as they are not provoked. ❷When camping, avoid setting up tents on the path where the cattle drink water. ❸Choose a sunny day to travel, and if you arrive late, it is recommended not to go to Hamburger Rock. ❹Please make sure to take all your trash with you during hiking and camping, keep the environment clean, and travel in a civilized manner.
