Yuanlin, Changhua - "Transparent Air" Japanese restaurant hidden in the alley (reservations are required)

Transparent Air is a Japanese restaurant hidden in an alley. It is fully reservation-based and opens for reservations one month in advance. The deposit is NT$400 per person and the dining time is 2 hours. Japanese-style set meals and afternoon tea snacks are provided. You can sit by the large floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the entire window view, enjoy the strong Japanese Zen scenery, and taste delicious meals! We were lucky enough to book a spot for the afternoon, and ordered Japanese grilled dumplings 🍡, the store’s signature dessert - air mille-feuille, and a drink. The Mille-feuille dessert is made with seasonal fruits. Unfortunately, it was not strawberry season when I went there. The mille-feuille part was so crispy as soon as I took a bite. It was really delicious when paired with grapes and custard sauce. There are three different flavors of grilled dango in total: classic soy sauce flavor, matcha red bean and chocolate. The glutinous rice balls are soft, chewy, smooth and full, and not hard at all. The fragrant and sweet glutinous rice is paired with different ingredients. It’s so happy to eat one bite after another. The existence of transparent air gives people one more reason to travel to Changhua. The Japanese-style quiet atmosphere and the air on site are really comfortable.
