Capital of Croatia: Zagreb

Zagreb is the capital of Croatia and the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. It has a long history, pleasant climate, and rich tourism resources. It is the only city in Croatia with a population exceeding one million. Today, Croatia is a member of the European Union, and in many aspects, it has integrated with Europe. Croatia's abundant tourism resources attract a large number of European tourists for vacations, and Zagreb also hosts many European visitors. During our two-day trip in Zagreb, we did not encounter any domestic tourists, making Zagreb relatively unfamiliar to our compatriots, at least not as famous as Dubrovnik. However, Zagreb attracts tourists from all over the world with its long history, beautiful architecture, and excellent environment! Zagreb is divided into the Upper Town and the Lower Town. The Upper Town is the old town, featuring churches, historical sites, and other attractions. The Lower Town is the new town, with commercial areas, squares, and art venues.
