Tasch, Switzerland

Täsch is a municipality in the Wesp district in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It is located in the Matter Valley in the southwestern part of Switzerland, about 5 km from the town of Zermatt. It is adjacent to the municipalities of Ayer, Randa, Saas-Almagell, Saas-Fee and Zermatt. Here are some tourist attractions in and around Tasch, Switzerland: - Matterhorn: One of the most famous peaks in the Alps, with an altitude of 4,478 meters, its unique shape, like a toblerone, is the symbol of Switzerland. In Täsch, you can take a cable car or train to the town of Zermatt, from where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Matterhorn. You can also choose to hike or climb to experience its charm up close.  - Lake Tash: Located near the town of Tash, the lake has clear water and is surrounded by mountains and dense forests. You can enjoy a quiet time walking, picnicking, boating or fishing by the lake, and you can also skate on the lake when it freezes in winter. - Gornergrat Observation Deck: It can be reached by taking the Gornergrat mountain railway. It is 3,089 meters above sea level and is an excellent place to view the Matterhorn and the surrounding glaciers and mountains. When the weather is clear, the view is wide and you can see many famous peaks and magnificent glaciers.  - Five Lakes Trail: A classic hiking route starting from Zermatt, passing five alpine lakes including Stellsee and Grindsee. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Matterhorn from different angles as well as natural scenery such as lakes, forests, and grasslands. The hiking difficulty is moderate. - Lendraf Kraz Forest Trail: Located in the ancient forest of Tasch, it has rich vegetation and diverse ecology. It is suitable for walking with children and the elderly. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful forest scenery, breathe fresh air, and feel the tranquility of nature. - Emerson-Tacheron Trail: This is a moderately difficult hiking route with spectacular mountain and lake views, passing alpine meadows, streams and chalets, and an idyllic experience of the Swiss mountain scenery.
