From the ✈️airport, it's about 15 minutes by taxi, costing around 15 yuan. From the 🚄high-speed rail station, it's about 20 minutes by taxi, costing 15-20 yuan. 👍️Must-visit spots: ✅Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area: Features the world's longest mountain passenger cableway at 7,454m. You can take a 28-minute cable car ride to enjoy the scenery from city to mountain. Be sure to buy an A or B route ticket. ✅999 Sky Stairs: Known as the path to immortality, with the saying "once you've climbed the sky stairs, all paths ahead will be smooth." ✅Tianmen Cave: The world's highest natural karst cave that penetrates through the mountain from north to south, resembling a gateway to heaven. ✅Glass Walkway: Three sections of walkways built on steep cliffs, all above 1,400m altitude, made of highly transparent tempered glass. Walking on them is thrilling and exciting. ✅Yunmeng Peak: The highest point at 1,486m. From the top, you can overlook the panorama of Zhangjiajie, Wuling Mountain Range, and rolling sea of clouds. ✅Lingxiao Platform: Legendary traces of the celestial realm, said to be the first stop for immortals descending to earth. From this high vantage point, you can enjoy a 360° view of the surrounding peaks. ✅Guigu Plank Road (Courage Testing Stone, Guigu Sky Rift): Cliff walking on a 1,600m suspended walkway built against the cliff face, with some sections featuring open designs. 🎟️Ticket Information: Ticket price: 💰278 yuan, includes cableway, shuttle bus, and escalator. Opening hours: 6:30-18:00 (no entry after 16:00, all visitors must exit before closing). Recommend arriving before 8am to avoid crowds. 💗Other tips: ⭕️Avoid weekends and holidays when queue times can exceed 2 hours. ⭕️Don't trust "low-price tours" at the foot of the mountain to avoid forced shopping. ⭕️Recommended accommodation: Stay near the Tianmen Mountain cableway station for convenience - just have breakfast and walk to the cableway entrance. I stayed at the Four Great Masterpieces Aesthetic Inn, which is close to the Tianmen Mountain entrance and offers free pickup/drop-off service to the airport and stations.
