Some tips for girls visiting Zhangjiajie for the first time

Since it was my first time visiting Zhangjiajie with my parents 👨‍👩‍👧 and I couldn't handle intense "special forces-style" travel, we maintained a moderate pace, averaging over 16,000 steps daily in the scenic area. . Absolutely breathtaking! Words can't describe it - you have to experience it yourself. No wonder Koreans love coming here, haha 😛😛 . Here's my itinerary for reference: 🎆Day1: Took subway to airport, direct flight to Zhangjiajie at 12:20. Hotel arranged pickup upon arrival - super convenient, especially for elderly and children. . 🎆Day2: Breakfast at hotel at 7am, departed for scenic area at 7:30 (30min ride). Forest Park route: Entrance via Wulingyuan Gate → Bailong Elevator → Yuanjiajie → Yangjiajie → Tianzi Mountain → Tianzi Mountain Cableway down → Round-trip train ride through Shili Gallery → Golden Whip Stream. Entire route can be completed in one day. . ⚠️Note: Arrive early before tour groups to avoid Bailong Elevator queues. To get from Yuanjiajie to Yangjiajie: walk through parking lot then take shuttle 🚗 We carried lots of food (many in our group), though food is available onsite at higher prices. . 🎆Day3: Forest Park → Tianmen Mountain Book tickets early! I bought last minute (should've listened to hotel concierge - best to book one week ahead). Got B-line tickets which worked well. Took cable car from hotel area - no need to climb Tianmen Mountain steps. Those who can't climb can buy elevator tickets. Arrive early for cable car🛤 - huge crowds require number collection before queuing. C-line involves backtracking - not recommended 🙅🏻. . Evening visit to 72 Odd Towers for photos (exterior only - no need to enter, too many mosquitoes 🦟 inside). . 🎆Day4: Zhangjiajie → Phoenix Ancient Town Stayed near Rainbow Bridge - felt like a giant photo studio, haha Found a photography + makeup package for ¥268 When leaving Phoenix for train station: book taxi🚕 in advance! Don't rely on ride-hailing apps. Arrange pickup one day prior or risk missing your train! . 🎆Day5: High-speed train from Phoenix back to Changsha Made a side trip to Zhangjiajie 🌲 Tianmen Mountain and Wulingyuan scenery was stunning! . Parents were super satisfied with this trip~ hehe [smirk] Will definitely bring them again~
