Hike in Mangshi: A surprising route only 30 minutes from Xiangguntang, downtown Mangshi

  Sometimes you have to admit that Yunnan is God's favorite. “I envy the people of Mangshi! It only takes half an hour to drive to the mountains.” Turn around and it's like hiking in a Southeast Asian forest valley. This niche hiking route is highly recommended by locals.👍👍👍   Rent a car and navigate to Xiangguntang. It's a 30-minute drive from downtown Mangshi. Pass through the small village and walk along the river upstream. Walk through the bamboo forest with the stream always by your side. A 4-kilometer round-trip hike.   Once in the mountains, I become a monkey, Drilling through the forest, Jumping up and down by the stream. One jump and I'm in the stream. Wear versatile soft-shell pants that are wear-resistant and won't be scratched by branches. They won't get wet even when playing in the waterfall. Otherwise, this monkey would be in trouble.  Although the journey is not far, the way I walk makes me sweat.    There are many flat rocks on both sides of the path. The wind blows and I feel drowsy. I just started to sweat a little, but when I sit down, I feel a little cold. Bring a jacket to take a nap and meditate on a large rock.
