Located in the "Basilica Hall" of the Landis Taipei, we offer literary afternoon tea every season. Today we will introduce you to the world's classic fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland" 🧚🏻 The afternoon tea includes two savory dishes and six small desserts. All the dessert designs are integrated into the storyline, including the stolen pie, the time and space pocket watch, the Queen and King of Hearts and the skeleton key. Each dessert incorporates important elements of the story. Savory side 🥘 - "White Rabbit's Carrot Soup", a fresh soup made from pure carrots and cream. - "Stolen Mushroom Rolanda", Rolanda originates from the Lorraine region in northeastern France. It is a representative French pastry with thick egg custard filling, meat and vegetables. Dessert part🍰 - "KitKat Teapot", the tea jelly is made by boiling Taitung Luye Red Oolong and osmanthus into jelly, paying tribute to the wonderful tea drinking of the crazy afternoon tea in the story. - "Time and Space Pocket Watch" is made of Earl Grey tea chocolate. When you open it and taste it, you will find that the texture of the chocolate is moderately soft and hard. The outer layer is coated with bittersweet cocoa and gold powder to enhance the taste, with the aroma of Earl Grey tea. - "Master Key" is a bronze-colored key made of coffee chocolate. The carvings on it look very much like the ones in fairy tales. - "Magic Mushrooms", the red mushrooms are filled with sweet and sour lime basil, with a berry aroma and a sour taste, which is very special. - "The Queen and King of Hearts" are made of shortbread cookies with two different shapes: chocolate in the middle to make spades ♣️ and berries in the middle to make hearts ♥️.
