I have been to countless sea islands, but this time the East Pole Island made me miss it as soon as I left!

I have been to many seasides, and the seas in the north and south have their own tastes, but the East Pole Island gave me a really special feeling. Once I left there I started to hang around and think it was quite a different place. The island is not commercial and quiet, for those who like peace and quiet. We went by boat from the dock for maybe two hours before I was worried about seasickness but it was actually perfectly fine, the sea from the boat ranged from yellow to light green to dark blue and the seagulls followed the boat and the view was particularly healing. There are a few small islands in Dongji Island, Aohama Island where we stayed was very small and quiet, not many tourists, basically experiencing that feeling of local life. My favorite is Higashi Fukuyama Island, which is so beautiful. Walking on the island, surrounded by the sea, there are no people at all, it feels like you are cut off from the world, the mood is super relaxing. The food was great, the seafood noodles on the island were the freshest I’ve ever had, the noodles weren’t much to say, the seafood was fresh from the sea. The various fish and shrimp we had for dinner had only been swimming in the sea for an hour, so they were especially fresh. The sunrise is particularly early on the island, and it gets dark early at 7:00. The most amazing thing was in the evening we saw blue tears, and although we knew it was plankton glowing, that blue light was so beautiful that it felt like entering a fairy tale world. Overall, East Pole Island is really relaxing, without so many people and without any commercial atmosphere, the right place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. If I had the chance, I was sure I would still go again, stay a few more days and enjoy everything there.
