Zhuhai Huafa Sheraton Hotel: An Unexpectedly Wonderful Encounter Zhuhai, a city that combines modern urban charm with coastal appeal, was originally just a transit point for my trip to Macau. However, due to a lost permit, I had the unexpected opportunity to deeply experience its gentle side. The Huafa Sheraton Hotel added many unforgettable memories to this trip. I had originally planned a short stay, but because I wanted to find a hotel with a view of the Macau Peninsula, I chose the Huafa Sheraton Hotel in the Shizimen CBD area of Zhuhai after comparing several options, and embarked on a romantic Zhuhai trip. Accommodation Experience Rating I give this accommodation experience a score of 4.7 out of 5. The hotel belongs to Zhuhai's leading enterprise, Huafa Properties, and its strong background is reflected in its service and hardware. Price I booked on the day of arrival during a weekday in the off-season and paid CNY 780 in cash. Service During My Stay As a Platinum member, the hotel generously upgraded my basic king room to an elegant suite upon check-in, helped decorate the room, and gave me two cute Sheraton teddy bears. During my stay, the hotel responded quickly to any needs I had, and the service was very attentive. I had noted the anniversary in advance, and the hotel not only carefully decorated the room, but also gave me a 4-inch animal cream mango cake, which tasted amazing. Room The elegant suite is nominally a suite, but it is actually an open-plan guest room simply separated by a TV cabinet, but this does not affect the comfortable experience it provides. The room is spacious and the layout makes you feel very comfortable. There is a large balcony with a sea view, from which you can clearly see the Macau Peninsula and Hengqin New Area in the distance, with the Grand Lisboa Hotel and Macau Tower in full view, offering an excellent view. The bathroom is very spacious, with a small cloakroom, and the shower, toilet, and bathtub are traditionally separated into three sections. The washstand also has double sinks, which are very convenient to use. The room is equipped with a retro coffee machine, round coffee capsules, a water heater, and a Nespresso commercial coffee machine, which is perfect for coffee lovers. Breakfast & Executive Lounge Breakfast is at the Feast restaurant on the 3rd floor of the hotel, which has the same beautiful sea view as the rooms. Although there were many guests that day and no staff to seat us, so we had to find our own seats, the dining area is large. When we arrived at 9:00, there were very few empty tables, but the breakfast selection was extensive, fully reflecting the generosity of the hotel and its owner. The afternoon tea at the executive lounge was relatively simple, with only some cakes and fruit, but it provided a comfortable place for business negotiations and chats. Location The hotel is located in the Zhuhai Shizimen CBD business district, close to the Hengqin Port. As the surrounding area has just been developed, the supporting facilities are not yet perfect and there are relatively few people. The nearest shopping mall and restaurants are Huafa Mall, which is a ten-minute walk away. However, just across the road is the seaside greenway, which overlooks Macau across the sea, and the scenery is very pleasant. Other Facilities The hotel lobby is very grand, with a multi-story stage built, and the panda as the mascot is very distinctive. The atrium of the floor is a hollow design. The lounge space is comfortable and also offers sea views while dining. The gym is huge, with complete equipment, and the window view faces the sea, so you can enjoy the scenery while exercising, which is very pleasant. 🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene: The soundproofing is good, providing a quiet resting environment. The hygiene is well maintained, and both the rooms and public areas are spotlessly cleaned. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: There are various room types. Taking the elegant suite as an example, the space is spacious, and although it is an open-plan design, the layout is reasonable and the functional areas are clearly defined. The bathroom layout is also very practical. 🛌Supplies/Facilities: The supplies are of high quality, the rooms are equipped with retro coffee machines, etc., the gym has complete equipment, and there is also a sea view. The overall facilities are very new and can meet various needs. 💰Average Spend: CNY 780 for a weekday stay in the off-season, which is good value for money when combined with points activities. Becoming a member allows you to enjoy a better stay experience. 2. The hotel is close to the Hengqin Port, making it very convenient if you want to visit Macau. Remember to apply for your permit in advance. 3. Although the surrounding facilities are being improved, Huafa Mall is within walking distance, where there are various dining and shopping options. 4. If you want to enjoy the sea view, it is recommended to choose a room on a higher floor for a wider view.
