A Solo Trip to Zhuhai, Stayed at Hilton Hotel in Wanzi District, Very Satisfied

A three-day solo getaway from Shanghai to Zhuhai, with a flight under three hours. Since I was traveling alone, I chose Hilton. Why? The photographer knows all the angles and tricks, and with 50-60 shots, you’re bound to get enough for a perfect social media post. Just note that you need to book the shoot a day in advance (i.e., schedule it on your check-in day for the next day). The photographer will professionally retouch 3 photos for free, and you’ll receive them within 24 hours. The 28th floor of the hotel houses a trendy local bar, open from 6 PM. Before 8 PM, there’s an all-you-can-drink cocktail deal. Window seats after 9 PM are in high demand. Besides drinks, the bar also serves food. With group deals, cocktails cost around 50-60 yuan per person, while à la carte prices range from 98-128 yuan per glass. The hotel is located in Wanzi District, just an 8-minute walk from the pier’s seafood stalls. I didn’t go there, though—I opted for dining in the city center instead. Here are three tried-and-true spots in Gongbei’s city center: 1. **Lei Garden Restaurant**, a time-honored Zhuhai establishment. 2. **Shengxiang Claypot Rice**, another old-school spot popular with Hong Kong visitors. 3. **Kam Moon Lung Seafood**, a well-known place for abalone and shark fin dishes.
