Check out Zhuhai's most stunning infinity pool

I spent two days and one night chilling at the InterContinental Zhuhai. After visiting Chimelong, I decided to switch gears and slow down the pace. So, I brought my family to the InterContinental Zhuhai, conveniently located near Gongbei Port, making it easy to head to Macau afterward. While the hotel isn't specifically designed for families, the overall experience was very comfortable—perfect for families or couples looking to relax and unwind. I stayed in an Executive Sea View Room, which offered a direct view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. The view was absolutely breathtaking! The room also came with access to the Executive Lounge, which included afternoon tea, evening snacks with cocktails, and even desserts at night. The most thoughtful perk was the daily laundry service for two items, which was perfect for someone like me who got soaked during the trip 🧺. The highlight of the trip was definitely the pool. The outdoor infinity pool was so stunning that I didn’t want to leave! There were also several small heated pools with shallow water, making them suitable for kids. The hotel provided amenities for children, such as bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, bed rails, and small toilet seats. Although there wasn’t a bathtub mat, the offerings were quite comprehensive. Breakfast options weren’t particularly extensive, but the quality was decent. I especially loved the seafood congee—I had two bowls 🤣. There was even a clown at the restaurant entrance making balloon animals for kids, which created a cheerful atmosphere 🎈. As for nearby dining options, the closest restaurants were about a ten-minute walk away, so calling a car might be more convenient. We tried places like Jin Yue Xuan, Jin Lai Noodle House, Macau Fisherman’s Village, and Yao Jin Claypot King—all of which were quite tasty. The only downside was that the hotel lacked children’s facilities, such as baby tableware in the restaurant, arm floats in the pool, and an indoor pool for winter. This limited the activities available for kids. 📍Relaxed itinerary: On the first day, we checked in around noon and chilled in the room while the baby took a nap. Later, we went down to the pool for some water fun, followed by a trip to Sun and Moon Shell and Yeli Island for sightseeing. Dinner was kept simple, and we returned to the hotel for an early rest. On the second day, after breakfast, we visited a nearby mall for a stroll and then had lunch at Tai Gan Bao·Wu Mi Congee (Jida branch), which featured fresh ingredients and light flavors—perfect for both adults and kids. In the afternoon, we returned to the hotel for more pool time. During sunset, we took the cable car at Jingshan Park and ended the day at the beach across from City Balcony, where we enjoyed the sand and water—a perfect conclusion 🌇. Overall, this hotel is ideal for those looking to slow down and spend most of their time relaxing at the hotel. You don’t always need to rush through itineraries; sometimes, choosing a comfortable hotel and enjoying a couple of leisurely days can be incredibly healing 💆🏻♀️💕.
