Zhuji Museum

The Zhuji Municipal Museum is located on Lingtang Mountain (next to the Children's Park) on the East 1st Road, Chengguan Town, Zhuji, Shaoxing City. The exhibition installation began in early 1998. It was officially opened to the outside world on October 8, 1998. The Museum of Cultural Relics and Historical Relics introduces Zhuji's long history of five thousand years, which is divided into three parts: the ancient capital of Yue, Wang County in eastern Zhejiang, and outstanding people. It combines the cultural relics unearthed underground with information and pictures to show a country with a long history, developed farming, and famous products. Zhuji is a place with a gathering of people, prosperous literary style and numerous celebrities. The museum mainly consists of the Cultural Relics and Historical Relics Hall, the Pearl Hall, and the Folklore Hall, which reproduces the six thousand years of Zhuji's long history and splendid culture, condenses the folk customs of Jiyang, and displays the treasures of Zhuji's traditional and modern folk crafts. Among them, the Museum of Cultural Relics and Historical Relics is the main content of the basic display. It is divided into three parts: "Old Capital of Ancient Yue", "Wang County in East Zhejiang" and "Outstanding People". It mainly features unearthed cultural relics, accompanied by pictures and information, to show the audience a place with a long history. Zhuji is a place with developed farming, famous products, prosperous literary style and numerous celebrities. The entire exhibition hall adopts a display format that takes history as the line and combines historical objects.
