Chennan Village Ronghuazhai Ancient Opera Garden in Zixing, Hunan

Ronghuazhai Ancient Opera Garden is said to have a history of over 600 years. The current opera garden building was constructed during the Qing Dynasty, covering approximately 400 square meters. It features a two-story brick-wood structure with a courtyard layout and horse-head gable walls. The side entrance leads to the stage building on the left, a central courtyard, and two-story corridor-style buildings on the right and both sides, allowing audiences to dine while enjoying performances. Unlike typical opera stages in southern Hunan that are usually attached to ancestral halls, this independent opera garden is quite rare. Currently, it serves as a dining and entertainment venue, attracting numerous opera enthusiasts and tourists.
