"Tonenu Busan Choryang Branch"
Single diners welcome! A yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy Korean pork

5 minutes walk from Busan Station on Subway Line 1. A yakiniku restaurant that is also OK for single diners, close to Choryang Daeji Kalbi Street and Choryang Traditional Market. This seems to be a chain yakiniku restaurant in Korea, and the Choryang branch is popular with locals and the restaurant is always crowded.
You can enjoy straw-grilled samgyeopsal, Korean pork, and smoked duck meat as yakiniku. If you order two servings, you can eat and drink as a single diner, and they welcomed us warmly.
Korean pork shoulder loin 9,000w
The fat spreads in a mesh pattern among the lean meat, giving it a rich and full-bodied flavor.
Korean pork loin 9,800w
Soft, with little fat, it is light and refreshing.
The grilled pork is seasoned to your liking with salted sesame oil or miso sauce samjang, and wrapped in green onions, bean sprout kimchi, Chinese cabbage kimchi, lettuce, and perilla leaf vegetables. You can also order rice for 1,000w. Leaf vegetables and filling vegetables are self-service in an all-you-can-eat format.
Korean chawanmushi "Gyeranjim" is served for free. It is a fluffy egg souffle-like dish with a gentle taste that is perfect as a palate cleanser.
The staff were kind and I was able to enjoy yakiniku by myself. The Korean pork yakiniku was delicious.
