📍Mt. Ko-Fuji This is Ko-Fuji, located on Gogoshima Island in Matsuyama City. Ko-Fuji has an elevation of 282m. As its name suggests, its appearance rising from the sea like Mt. Fuji can be seen not only from Matsuyama City, but also from coastal areas such as Matsumae Town and Iyo City. It can also be seen well from Matsuyama Castle. One of the attractions of Ko-Fuji is its easy access from the center of Matsuyama City. Get off at Takahama Station on the Iyotetsu line and take a ferry from nearby Takahama Port to Tomari Port. 📍Nomama Highland Nomama Highland, located in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, is known as the spot where cherry blossoms bloom the earliest in Ehime. About 20 Kawazu cherry trees are planted at Nomama Highland. They are characterized by their darker pink flowers than the typical Somei Yoshino cherry trees, and their appearance against the cold sky is a masterpiece. This is the highest mountain on the Takanawa Peninsula, where Matsuyama City and Imabari City are located.
