First stop: Thingvellir National Park, where I walked between tectonic plates – such a surreal experience! The entrance is free, and the views of the rift valley are breathtaking. Next up was Geysir, home to Iceland’s famous erupting hot springs. Watching Strokkur spout boiling water into the air every few minutes was so exciting! 🌋 Then we headed to Gullfoss Waterfall, a majestic double-tiered cascade that left me in awe of nature's power. Make sure to bring a waterproof jacket because the mist is intense! What I loved most about this adventure was the proximity to each spot. The whole circle can be done in a day, but there's plenty to explore if you take your time. Don't miss the nearby Kerid Crater – it's a small entry fee, but worth it for the vivid red volcanic rock and turquoise lake.
