Great Falls Park is located not far from Washington, D.C. There is parking available and pets are allowed on leashes. The walking paths are lined with trees, shady, and not steep. It takes you to see the beautiful waterfalls and large rapids of the Potomac River. It is very beautiful. Swimming is not allowed here because the water is very strong and fast.
