In this cave there are several stones that resemble animals, for example the dragon on the cave ceiling. Halong itself in Vietnamese means descending dragon. Sung Sot Cave is a cave in a limestone massif. The path to the cave is through the forest greenery; you must climb 50 stone steps and then descend 10 stone steps to reach the entrance. The most economical way is to take a ferry from Tuan Chau ($2.75 With your motorbike). Make sure to fill up the tank on Tuan Chau, and when you land on Cat Ba you will have the entire day to explore caves, beaches amazing jungles and dine at fun restaurants everywhere. #newyearadventure A truly amazing cave a must-see on our trip. Located in the UNESCO World Heritage area, the Hang Sung Sot is one of the finest and widest grottoes of Ha Long Bay and is only accessible by boat. It involves a bit of climbing but easily doable The cave is lovely and quite interesting to visit. We enjoyed the walk through this cave. The view outside the cave is spectacular! It's totally like a postcard view!

Getting There - About 2.5 Hours by bus/ car from Hanoi . Attractions - Gorgeous scenery of karst formation and limestone cliffs. Quieter and more tranquil compared to Halong Bay . lots of small white beaches for swimming. this is Cat co beach 1 which from my perspective this is the nicest one among the three! the beach has a bay shape which is absolutely beautiful, sandy beach and not too crowded. there is also a well paved and well maintained waking trail leads you to the other beach two and three! from the town centre to this beach is fairest easy and fast! I love spending my afternoon chilling here #beachlife

#gohiking this is one of the mustvisit places in Cat ba island! it’s not too hard to reach however you do need to rent a scooter! we rent a scooter and drove all the way up there. you do need to pay entrance fee 80-100 dong which is not that much! the hike itself was a bit challenging! however the view up there was just amazing you will see how green this island is! I had a great time

#2023travelwish this is one of the must visit places in Cat Ba island. there are 3 viewpoints. this place also has some historical significances, the cannons were transported from france to Vietnam, and they were all built by the French. we went up for the sunset, the entrance fee was around 50 dong, and the hike up was really pleasant, not too challenging. if you ever come to this island, you should def check it out! #tripblazers #beachlife

If you are going to the north of vietnam you probably want to check out the world famous Ha Long Bay but i recommend you to go to Cat Ba island and check out this even more beautiful Lan Ha Bay. This bay is more secluded and less touristy. The tours from Cat Ba ventures take you to all the great spots in the Bay and are more affordable then the overpriced tours in Ha Long Bay

Cat Ba Island is strategically located in the center of the world famous Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay with a beautiful view on 1000 of islands. 승솟동굴 다음에 방문한 곳은 하롱베이 1969개의 섬 중 유일하게 해변(해수욕장)이 있다는 티톱섬입니다. 하롱베이 투어로 방문할 시 입장료는 투어비용에 포함이 되어 있고, 해변에서 시간을 보내거나 450개의 계단을 올라 전망을 구경할 수도 있어요. 해변은 아담한 사이즈로 해수욕을 즐길 것이 아니라면 이왕 온 김에 전망대에 한 번 올라가 보길 추천드립니닷:) 전망대에 올라가는 계단은 그리 많지는 않지만 경사가 꽤 급한 편이라 꽤나 힘이 들더라고요. 정상까지는 약 10분~15분 소요 되는데 운동강도는 강.. 이라고 생각하시면 되요. 하지만 개인적으로 하롱베이 투어중 가장 아름다운 경관이었다고 생각을 하기 때문에 잠깐의 고통은 참고 올라가 보면 좋을 것 같아요. 내려와서는 코코넛워터 하나 드시는 것도 추천! 엄청 달고 맛나요~ #하롱베이 #티톱섬

Cat Ba Beach The beach is divided into three main areas, with a flat asphalt road running along the coast connecting areas 1, 2 and 3. The sky is blue, the air is cool and pleasant. The sea water here is as clear as other beaches because it is located between two river mouths but has a moderate salinity that helps prevent sunburn even when swimming in Cat Ba at noon.

As soon as you get to the island, you will see the statue of Gherman Ti Top, a Russian astronaut. Because he landed on the island with Ho Chi Minh in 1962, it was named Ti Top Hero Island in memory of him. The most eye-catching thing on the island is the pavilion on the top of the mountain. You can reach the top by climbing about 300 steps, but the steps are not easy to climb, and the way up and down is the same, very narrow. However, it is well worth the effort to climb to the top of the mountain to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Halong Bay and take photos.

This is probably one of the most underrated islands. It located in the northern side on Viet Nam. We took our bikes on the train from Hai Duong to Ha Long and then we drove to the point where we were able to take the ferry and get to Cat Ba. There are some nice hotels ranging from affordable to Expensive to suit your personal taste.
