Mu - Hoa Binh (~150km from Hanoi) 🛵 Transportation: There are 3 routes from Hanoi to here: - Route 1: Hanoi- Hoa Binh City- Tan Lac- Cho Lo - Vu Ban- Mu Waterfall (150km) - Route 2: Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh Trail - Provincial Road 237 - Doc Ngheo Ngoc Lau- Ngo Luong- Mu Waterfall (125km) - Route 3: Hanoi - HCM Trail- Vu Ban - Mu Waterfall (140km) 📸 Play - Live virtual: - Bui Beach: This is a super large and beautiful grass field located in Ngoc Lau commune, known as the European grass field of Hoa Binh province. The day I went, I intended to stop by on the way back, but when I searched the map, I took a different route so I couldn't stop by. 😭😭 What a pity. This place is so beautiful for virtual living, you can also camp - Mu Waterfall: The waterfall is located in Mu hamlet, Tu Do commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province. That day, the entrance fee was about 10k/ticket. The natural scenery is quite beautiful, but there were a lot of people bathing here, so I mainly bathed in the stream near the homestay. 🍜 What to eat? Where to stay? : - Coming to Mu Waterfall, the accommodation services here are 100% stilt house homestays. The price fluctuates for sleeping on the communal floor is 100k/person. - You should find out and book the service in advance because if you go on the weekend, it is quite crowded. I booked with Ms. Phuong Vui Homestay and ordered food right away. She was super enthusiastic, took me to see the show in the evening, and also cooked delicious food. Oh, she also let me wear Muong clothes, hehe 😍 - The specialties here are stream fish, hill chicken, stream snails, bamboo rice.. 👉🏻 Total trip cost: - Gasoline: 700 - Food: 970/2 meals - Room: 300/3 people - Mu waterfall ticket: 30/3 people - Total 2 million for 3 people ⁉️ Note: - The best time to go is from May to September. - The road is quite bad, so avoid going on rainy days. Otherwise, the road will be flooded and you won't be able to return to Hanoi 🥲🥲 - You should bring insect repellent. About the service at Mu Waterfall, it may be a bit sketchy, don't expect much because you sleep in a stilt house. However, the food service + take care of guests is super ok.
