✏️Jangseong Cypress Hill Healing Forest Campground ✏️ Location: 212 Hanamsil-gil, Buk-myeon, Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do Cypress Hill Healing Forest ✏️ Time: Check-in 14:00 Check-out 12:00 This is Jangseong ‘Funback Hill Healing Forest Campground’ where you can heal while feeling phytoncide surrounded by tall cypress trees. It was a well-managed campground where I felt the owner was kind! Of course, it was located deep in the forest, so there were a lot of bugs and snakes! But it’s a place I really want to recommend because you can feel nature completely. #Flower viewing This was my first time visiting Jangseong, and I really enjoyed the flower viewing near Hwangryong River. There were a lot of pretty yellow cosmos and various kinds of flowers! I went to the fall flower festival, and it was a really huge flower festival, so I took a lot of pictures : ) You must visit when you go to Jangseong!

This is because in those days white sheep used to come down from the mountain to listen to the monks chanting, and then go back up.

#summervacay Baegyangsa is straight-up magical. Tucked into the mountains in Jeollanam-do, this temple feels like stepping into a painting, especially if you go in the fall when the leaves are doing their dramatic color thing. We didn’t even go there for deep spiritual vibes or anything, but the calm hits you as soon as you walk in. The path leading up to the temple is super peaceful, with a little stream and towering trees that make you forget all your city stress. The temple buildings themselves are beautiful, classic Korean architecture with mountain views in the background. There’s this old bridge that’s insanely photogenic (Instagram heaven), and the whole place just feels timeless. We wandered around slowly, took a million pics, and just chilled. No rush, no pressure. It’s not a huge hike or anything, but you get that fresh mountain air and quiet that makes everything feel lighter. If you need a reset, Baegyangsa’s the move. Peaceful and low-key perfect.

Baekyangsa Temple in Jangseong is just a 30-40 minute drive from Gwangju. After parking at the parking lot, you’ll need to walk about 15 minutes to reach the temple. During the walk, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful scenery, including valleys, lush green trees, and the refreshing scent of phytoncides. The temple itself is stunning as well. Even though I visited on a weekend, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everyone was respectful, which naturally made me feel calm and serene. *.* They also offer temple stays, so I highly recommend it for those who have the time! 📍Baekyangsa Temple
