On a sunny afternoon, I decided to visit this tower to find the perfect viewpoint where history and scenery of Keelung intertwine. As I entered Zhongzheng Park, a refreshing sea breeze greeted me, accompanied by the sounds of birds chirping and visitors laughing. The winding path leading to Keelung Tower is flanked by dense forests, lush and vibrant, making one feel at ease. Occasionally looking up, I could see the white silhouette of the tower top peeking through the treetops, carrying a serene call. Upon reaching the top of the tower, the view instantly broadened. The picturesque scenery of Keelung Harbor unfolded before my eyes, with ships docked in the harbor, bustling piers, and the distant blue sea and sky complementing each other. The sea breeze gently brushed by, carrying a moist salty taste, allowing one to feel the soul of this port city. Turning around, the cityscape of Keelung, with its layered buildings and distant green mountains, formed a harmonious urban painting. Standing at the top of the tower, I seemed to hear the sound of waves hitting the harbor and the bustling rhythm of this city day and night. This tower is not only a viewing platform but also a symbol closely connected to the history and culture of Keelung. It has witnessed the changes of the city and carries the expectations of countless visitors for the future. Shen'ao Rail Bike is a bicycle riding activity on the railway between Badouzi Station - Shen Ao Station. We booked in advance for the 4:00 PM round. One of my best day trips from Taipei was to Wangyou Valley. I took a bus to Keelung City and suppose to have a seafood lunch in the Bisha Harbour Seafood market. Once I arrive at the market, I was not so hungry yet and saw on the map nearby have the park. In less than 10 minutes drive I arrived at such much nature place. I went up to a hilltop where I could see the ocean. There are lots of shipyards nearby. I could see containers and lots of cats, and that alone made me happy.
