It is a great place to visit during your stay in Iceland. A short taxi drive from the heart of Reykjavik, and you are there. The facility is big, nice, and clean. - We had private changing rooms with a shower and a locker. - The water is clear and hot, plenty of room to hide from the crowd. One piece of advice - bring a hat with you, it is pretty windy out there! Another thing - beware of benches in the water, they are not visible, and it's easy to hurt your legs cause they are made of stone(I had a couple of bruises after the visit) - Friendly and professional staff members, clean bathrooms, and plenty of dry towels. I highly recommend this place!

At first I didn’t plan on visiting the lagoons because I was worried of how crowded it might be. Then I saw the advertisement for sky lagoon, which was newly opened not too long ago, so I decided to give it a go. The water was warm, the sky was clear, super relaxing and I even made a few new friends!! I cannot wait to travel back to Iceland again. #familytrips2024 Sky lagoon is a geothermal spa in southwestern part of Iceland. It is relatively newer than Blue lagoon and I would say choose Sky lagoon because the water doesn't damage your hair! There is no sulphur in the lagoon and you get so much more bang for the buck. At a cheaper price, you get a sky scrub, steam etc. which blue lagoon doesn't provide. It is relatively less crowded too.
