Como is a sweet town with lovely water spots to swim in! My tip: don’t necessarily head to a lido (some of these you have to pay for). Walk around the water front and you’ll find the spots locals swim at! Must get at least one gelato per day, the town centre is lovely to walk around. If visiting villages, bus where you can because you’ll see all that you miss on the ferry!

Como Lake 🇮🇹, who doesn’t know it? Well, I have to admit, being Italian and growing up in Rome, I have probably neglected the rest of my own country for many years. I too often travelled overseas looking for new adventures when lots of beauty is still here to be discovered. Well, Como Lake hit me back hard! It made me appreciate the Northern part of Italy that I often skipped 😅 It is beautiful 🤩 absolutely astonishing. No other words. Driving on those super narrow roads was fun, visiting Bellagio and its nice ‘salite’ (little alleys, often going up), the cafes (that we call ‘Bars’ in Italy), the restaurants and just the simple atmosphere was so serene, so calming. In brief, the so called ‘golden triangle’ of #bellagio , #varenna and #menaggio, is something anyone should do when visiting (you should take the ferry to visit the three towns). I got to see only the first two in this occasion. I like Bellagio a lot but I have to admit I may have found Varenna to be even a little prettier. The first few shots in this post are taken during my visit of villa monastero. The villa is wonderful and the entrance fee includes the botanic gardens and the villa museum. Really nice visit indeed. The lake itself is big and you can visit lots of other places. I also liked the little fisherman village of #pescallo close to Bellagio and the town of #lecco. Miserably I didn’t get the change to visit the city of #como this time but together with Menaggio, it will be my excuse to come back again and maybe this time take the ferry around instead of driving. This is my third time visiting Milan, and I make a special trip to check in each time to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. In the town of Varenna, I find my inner self. 🌟Here, you can be surrounded by flowers, and you can also take a boat trip around Lake Como to admire the scenery of other surrounding towns. Bellagio and Menaggio are both super beautiful. At the same time, you can feel the splendor and beauty of Lake Como. 🌟There are many hiking routes in the Varenna area. From Varenna-Esina Station, you can walk to Lake Como and the town of Varenna in a few minutes. Varenna itself is a stunning little town, so definitely take some time to wander around and enjoy the views. If you want to continue your trip to visit the rest of the “Golden Triangle” of Lake Como (Bellagio and/or Menaggio), you can take a ferry ride from Varenna.

The city of Como is another destination that many families and couples dream of. The atmosphere with sunlight shining in the morning along with the cool breeze, who wouldn't want to come? Lake Como is a lake located in the Lombardy region, northern Italy. It is about 50 kilometers long and the deepest in Europe. It is shaped like an inverted Y, surrounded by beautiful mountains and hills. There are charming villages and small towns such as Como, Bellagio, Menaggio and Verenna. This lake has luxurious villas and is a vacation spot for celebrities. There are water activities such as boating, swimming, hiking and cycling on very beautiful routes. Traveling from Milan to Como takes about 1 hour. You can travel by Flexbus or train. We chose to travel by bus at a cost of almost 400 baht per leg. Walking around Como 📍Things to see and do🗺️ 1. Como Cathedral (Duomo di Como): A beautiful and historic Gothic cathedral 2. Piazza Cavour: The city's main square located on the lakeside, with many shops and cafes 3. Broletto: An old building that used to be the city's town hall, now used as an exhibition venue 4. We arrived in Como early in the morning and saw the sunrise that illuminated the city in the morning. We spent about 3 hours in the city and then we took a boat to Menaggio. We had booked accommodation there. There are both buses and boats to get there. Bus and boat prices from Como to Menaggio I personally prefer to travel by boat because you can see the beauty of the lake and stop at every stop, but it may take longer than usual.
