For this destination, I flew back to Cairo from Luxor and then took an 8-hour minibus to Matrouh😫😫. But fortunately, we met a girl who came to Matrouh alone to open a homestay at the station, and we also traveled with two Chinese people on the minibus. There is strength in numbers, and we dared to wander through the streets and alleys of the city center at 10 pm, under the strange eyes of Matrouh men, and had a local seafood barbecue supper. During our time in Matrouh, the homestay girl gave us a lot of help. We learned something about Matrouh after October from her. Off-season status💔💔 →The off-season in Matrouh begins every year after October 1. →Once the off-season arrives, sea trips are not available. →KFC and McDonald's in the town center are closed.
