I recently visited The Pell, a newly renovated and World of Hyatt added, boutique hotel in Newport, Rhode Island over the low season. The front desk staff are kind and patient. Our room was bright, and modern that reflected the beach/nautical vibes of the town. There is easy access to beaches, historic landmarks, restaurants and the famous Cliff Walk trail. My one regret is missing out on the in-house bar/restaurant’s open mic night where they serve their famous Espresso Martinis! Rhode Island - Tempting Seafood of a Seaside City We drove to Flo's Clam Shack from the castle, passing Easton's Beach on our way. It may not look like anything special, but it boasts a history of nearly 90 years. Their specialty is fried clams, and all of the seafood is very fresh.
