My first trip abroad alone I went to Japan for the first time in a long time after going to Tokyo with my close friend about 6 years ago, so I was both nervous and excited. Since I had a short preparation period, I was worried that I would lose the meaning of traveling alone if I searched and planned hastily, so I decided to just look at a few famous tourist spots and travel around alone. I definitely recommend going to Momochi Beach. I was able to fully enjoy the exotic beach and summer vibes, and it was nice to be able to see the Fukuoka Tower right nearby. Tenjin, Daimyo, and Hakata are just shopping places, and two days can easily fly by, and if you shop and leisurely explore the nearby restaurants and alleys, you can really feel like you're in Japan. At night, I felt the local culture of the Yayoi street in Nakasu and enjoyed the night view. Beppu Ryokan Seaside Hotel Mimatsu Oetei has a hot spring, of course. There are hot springs separated for men and women on the 3rd floor, and there is also an outdoor open-air bath on the 7th floor. The only regret was that since the hot springs were separated for men and women, couples could not enjoy the hot springs together. I couldn't take pictures of the inside of the bath, but the water was incredibly hot and the atmosphere was so cozy that I thought this was really healing.
