Tottori, easily accessible with direct flights from Incheon to Yonago! Misasa Onsen Village is located halfway between Yonago and Tottori City. The large building at the entrance of this village is Misasakan. This is a very clean hot spring resort with a 2-person kaiseki and breakfast included on weekdays for about 200,000 won. You can choose the color of your yukata when you check in. The large public bath that guests can use for free includes an open-air hot spring and is very spacious. There are hot spring baths with different concepts in the men's and women's baths, and you can switch between morning and night. The kaiseki cuisine that included Tottori's specialty wagyu and crab was also really delicious. By the way, you eat kaiseki at the restaurant. All the staff from the reception to the restaurant are friendly. There are two types of paid charter baths: one for 2 people and one for 15 people that can be used by the whole family. The 15-person bath was about 30,000 won. If you want to reserve only one group at a time, it is better to make a reservation at the reception when checking in. If you have the maximum number of people, it is the same price whether you have 2 or 10 people. You can use it for 50 minutes, but since the water is hot, it is difficult to stay longer anyway, so it was just the right amount of time. When you enter the outdoor private bath, there are shower facilities and lockers next to the open-air hot spring, so it is convenient. There are indoor and outdoor baths, separated by gender. Private rooms are 2,200 yen for 45 minutes. Special Features: Fireworks are held from 8:20 to 8:25 PM on summer nights. There are very few Koreans, and most are Japanese.

The must-try food when you come to Tottori is Tottori Wagyu Yakiniku. Tottori can be said to be the birthplace of Wagyu. This was the worst experience of the one night, two meals package. Maybe the hotel was too old and the Japanese people had to be polite and friendly (whether real or not), but this was an unforgettable memory. The dinner was totally unsatisfactory, not to mention the good ingredients, it didn't even make you feel full. Usually, Kaiseki cuisine, when in season, will satisfy you to the extreme and be unforgettable. I stayed at the Misasakan in Misasa-cho, Tottori Prefecture for two nights. I chose a room with an open-air bath. The room was clean and convenient. Amenities were plentiful. The lobby has a lovely retro atmosphere. Free shuttle service is available from the nearest JR Kurayoshi Station. For dinner, we had a semi-private room, and on the first day we had Wagyu beef shabu-shabu, and on the second day we had a luxurious hotpot of abalone and spiny lobster. Both days also came with fresh sashimi. Breakfast was buffet style. All the meals were delicious! The service was polite and great, with greetings and consideration wherever you were! Drinking hot springs are also available on site. A comfortable ryokan. I'd like to come again.

It is a Korean table setting and it is neat, so it really makes you feel like you are having a good meal when you travel. The tofu was delicious, and the side dishes were good overall. Personally, I was more satisfied with breakfast than dinner. Dinner was good because I could eat sushi, cooked fish, and even local beef, including seafood. It was served like a course, so I could enjoy it leisurely. I also had local whiskey here, and it was good, so I bought a bottle before I came. Overall, the quality of the food is high. How can you come to Japan and not take a hot spring bath? This time I stayed in 3 hot spring hotels in the San'in area. All of them offer one night and two meals, and each has its own characteristics, especially the food! Our journey in Tottori isn't over yet. After visiting Yonago and Tottori, we headed to Kurayoshi. Upon arriving at Kurayoshi Station, we initially planned to take a bus to the hotel. However, we accidentally met the hotel driver and learned through a translation device that guests could use the shuttle bus. Luckily, there were seats available. We chose Misasa Royal Hotel for its reasonable price. There is a convenience store nearby and a bus stop, making it easy for us to visit the shopping street in Misasa Onsen. The hotel is very convenient. The hotel environment is spacious. There is a microwave in the lobby, and you can also rent yukata. The rooms are a mix of Japanese and Western styles, with tatami mats and Western-style beds. The mattresses are very comfortable, and we had a nice view of the scenery and flowing water from our room. Regarding the bath facilities, there is a private bath available for ¥3300. You need to contact the front desk, and the staff will personally take you there and remind you to lock the door. The private bath is a traditional wooden tub with a comfortable water temperature. The large public bath has a steam room and an open-air bath. The spring water is quite hot, but I was able to adapt. After soaking, you can enjoy a sauna. In the changing room, there are various skincare and hair care products. I couldn't resist buying some skincare products from the hotel shop because they contain Misasa Onsen spring water.
