We drove ourselves to Lautersee in Mittenwald, a place known for its beautiful lakes and mountains. The beautiful lake offers a distant view of the Alps, and it is surrounded by green trees, making it very peaceful and beautiful. Mittenwald is also a famous art town, with houses decorated with exquisite murals everywhere. These murals depict natural landscapes, religious stories, and other themes, becoming a highlight of this quaint town. The buildings are covered with colorful frescoes, also known as Lüftlmalerei. Temperatures were on the average of 12 degrees when we reached there. Nature lovers do look out for a trail that extend outwards, running aside a blue river. The fields are covered with dandelion plants and the air is very fresh. Highly recommend to come here early in the morning enjoy a walk or hike.
