One of the highlights was visiting Mount Aso, where breathtaking volcanic landscapes stretched as far as the eye could see. The journey continued to the charming onsen towns of Kurokawa, Yufuin, and Beppu, each offering a unique hot spring experience that made for the perfect way to unwind.
