I recently went to Maoi-no-Oka, a roadside station in Naganuma that was renovated. It seems that the designated manager has changed to the company that runs Kaldi, and it has become very stylish!!! Wow, I was surprised!!! Of course, there are popular Kaldi products, but there are also outdoor goods that can be used for camping, and snacks and goods that are exclusive to Maoi-no-Oka, so it was fun. I was short of time and could only see the shop on the first floor, but there is a restaurant on the second floor and they also have take-out food. There are also soft-serve ice cream and Genghis Khan man at the shop, and there are many other products that interest me. Naganuma Town is about an hour's drive from Sapporo. Recently, there are many nice restaurants and it is a popular driving destination. Naganuma Shrine in Naganuma enshrines Okunitama-no-Mikoto, Okuninushi-no-Mikoto, and Sukunahikona-no-Mikoto. A café located within Heidi Farm where you can experience various activities. The café is a remodeled old train, giving it a retro feel. Since it's located on a hill in the farm, the view is fantastic! On this day, the air conditioner was broken, so everyone in the farm was suffering from the heat, but the train had good ventilation when the windows were opened, making it quite pleasant. The menu includes items like lamb rice bowl, udon, ramen, curry, takoyaki, and shaved ice, similar to what you might find at a beach house. We ordered the lamb rice bowl and cold ramen, but the ramen was more like cold Chinese noodles. The lamb rice bowl had tender meat and was very tasty. Since it was hot, we also ordered cold drinks, and after ordering, they also provided ice-cold water. If they don't provide it, you might want to ask the staff. If you want to enjoy a simple meal while taking in the typical Hokkaido scenery, this is the place for you.

We had lunch at Kissa Train Clara, located on the hill of Heidi Farm in Naganuma, Hokkaido. 🍴 As the name suggests, the exterior and interior look just like a train! ❕👀 It's a ticket system and cash only. We stayed five nights in the Neganuma area outside Sapporo. The Japanese countryside is very quiet as there are not many people, but we enjoyed the fresh air and rural scenery. There were plenty of farmer’s markets selling fresh produce and handmade goods. We also sampled food from various food trucks and cafes. We stayed five nights at the Fairfield by Marriott Hokkaido Neganuma. It was fairly close to Chitose Airport. The hotel is very quiet and very clean. The building and facilities are new, and the staff are very polite and professional - they helped us book taxis and answer other questions. On a sunny day, I went for a drive with my kids to Hokuhokuan in Naganuma. I love udon, so I wanted to take my kids there too! I had never been there before, so I was more excited and looking forward to it. This is handmade udon, and the menu only has udon. They have a wide variety of udon, from hot to cold, and I want to go again. It was sunny in the snow, so I went for a drive to my favorite restaurant in Naganuma, Harvest. As expected, it was delicious. They're also currently running a campaign where French fries are 100 yen, so I couldn't resist ordering some. I don't get to go there often, but they seem to offer takeout, so I think I might try takeout next time. I'd love it if you stopped by on your way back from Naganuma Ski Resort to enjoy the delicious food in a warm room surrounded by snow 😆 They also quickly prepared tableware for children, and I'm grateful that they're a restaurant that welcomes sharing. Located within the Restaurant Harvest premises is a cafe and souvenir shop called "Apples and Potatoes." Nakano Farm was originally an apple farm, so their apple juice is excellent and makes a great souvenir! Their apple pie is also delicious. Their other cakes and puddings are also delicious, so you'll never get bored no matter how many times you go. They also have dressings, baked goods, vegetables, and handmade goods, so be sure to stop by while you're waiting at the restaurant or before you leave.
