Go around the Earthly World → Sunny Path → Heavenly World → Dark Path. [Earthly World] This is the starting point of the Mandala Amusement Park. Various features such as the Enma Hall, the Hungry Ghost Needle Mountain, and the Spirit Bridge give you a sense of the terrifying hell of the Tateyama Mandala. #thingstodo This place is the must visit place in Japan. We were there in April , the second day after opening. Many tourists were there. The snow wall was tall from the bus view but we didn't walk there because it was too crowded. So we decided to take trek around the station instead. Make sure you are well prepared with winter gear since the snow is deep. The north face shop at the station offers a reasonable price with good quality trekking gear as well

#thingstodo Beautiful place to appreciate the nature. The way the air is filled with water particles as you get closer to the waterfall is mesmerizing. On weekdays there aren’t usually that many people going there, but I’ve heard on weekends and holidays it gets a little bit crowded. Something to keep in mind when going there: the parking lot is about 1.5km down the hill from the waterfall, so you’ll have about 20 minutes of uphill walking until the observation deck.
