[Tokyo/Tanashi Shrine] A power spot where the Five Dragon Gods live
A 7-minute walk from Tanashi Station.
One of Tokyo's most powerful spots is located at a station that is unlikely to be used by non-locals.
The main deities enshrined are Shinatsuhiko-no-Mikoto, Shinatobe-no-Mikoto, and Okuninushi-no-Mikoto.
In particular, Shinatsuhiko-no-Mikoto and Shinatobe-no-Mikoto are said to be gods of wind who blew divine winds and forced the Mongolian army to retreat during the Mongol invasions. Tanashi Shrine has two golden dragons based on the five elements, and red, black, white, and blue dragons are placed in the other precincts.
The large ginkgo tree, which resembles a dragon, is also magnificent.
Worshippers from all over Japan now visit the shrine to represent the five dragons. When I visited, I encountered a couple who said they had come from Hokkaido.
Recently, the shrine has become increasingly popular, with initiatives such as the Tanabata tunnel and flower water fountains.
In addition, hydrangeas and the character for "luck" written in cursive script by SHOCK EYE have been dedicated.
It takes less than 30 minutes to get there from Seibu Shinjuku Station by express train. Please take a little trip and visit the sacred land of dragons.

Kyoto Fushimi Inari Shrine⛩
● If I had to pick the best place in Kyoto, it would be here!
● It's free to enter, easy to access from the subway station, and the unique Kyoto town atmosphere that spreads out until you reach the shrine is so greatㅎㅎ
● The inside of Fushimi Inari Shrine was also very spacious, and those red pillars? really stretched out endlessly.. It was hard to take pictures because there were so many people at the entrance, but as you go up, there were definitely fewer people, so it was nice to enjoy leisurelyㅋㅋㅋ
● It might be a little scary to go at night, so I recommend going when it's reasonably bright, and wear comfortable shoes when you go to Kyoto! It's uphill, but it wasn't that hard or anything. It was actually nice and cool because it was under the shade of the trees?

Take a walk under the stars at the planetarium of Tama Rokuto Science Museum
I went to Tamarokuto Science Museum in Nishitokyo, Tokyo!
You might think that there are many exhibits aimed at children, but this science museum is also enjoyable for adults.
There are a variety of exhibits, including physics and science, internal anatomy, specimens, fossils, and geological strata.
The planetarium is particularly noteworthy.
It is one of the largest in eastern Japan and the fourth largest in the world, and boasts the world's greatest number of stars.
There is also a cafe and rest room, so you can have fun all day!

A shrine with a long history built in the Kamakura period
#aprilblooms
It was founded back to the Kamakura period, and it is said that it was originally located in Miyayama, Chatando, about 1 km away from the present. He called himself "Yuden Gongen" and moved to his current location in the 17th century. After that, the name of the shrine was changed to "Tanashi Shrine" in 1872. And in 1910, five small shrines in the town were enshrined together, and in 1949, Otori Okami was enshrined from Otori Shrine in Abeno, Osaka City, and it is said that it has reached the present.
The main deities are Shinatsuhiko no Mikoto, Shinatobe no Mikoto, and Okuninushi no Mikoto, and they have been enshrined since the beginning of their founding. These two pillars are also known as the gods in charge of the wind. Currently, based on the idea of the five elements, the golden dragon is enshrined in the main hall as the class Tsuhiko no Mikoto and the class Tobe no Mikoto, and the black dragon, white dragon god, red dragon, and blue dragon are enshrined in various places in the precincts, and it is believed as the "God of the five dragons".

Higashifushimi Inari Shrine
It gets quite crowded up until the 3rd of the New Year, but from the 4th onwards it is not crowded at all so I recommend going.
However, be aware that the stalls, charms, and fortune-telling slips are not available until after 10am.
There are many gods so there are also many places to pray to.
There are also many offering boxes so it's a good idea to bring extra coins for offerings.
The grounds are filled with torii gates and are like a maze, so I think it's a shrine that children can enjoy and not get bored at all.
It's not a large shrine, but it's a lovely one.

Explore the wonders of science: A fascinating journey at Tokyo's Tama Rokuto Science Museum
Tama Rokuto Science Museum is a place that makes people curious about science. The exhibitions in the museum cover various fields from space exploration to earth science, and each exhibit is designed to be very interesting and educational. I particularly like the interactive exhibition area, which allows people to participate in experiments and explorations in person and enhance their understanding of scientific principles. The facilities in the library are modern, providing a good learning environment and rich information. This visit not only gave me a deeper understanding of science, but also inspired my imagination about the future development of science and technology. If you are interested in science, this is definitely a place worth visiting!

Xiabaogu Forest Park: A natural treasure for relaxation
#Tokyo Attractions
Shimohodani Forest Park is a hidden natural treasure in Tokyo, featuring stunning river and waterfall landscapes.
As soon as you enter this lush forest park, you will be greeted by the fresh forest phytoncides, which will make you completely forget the hustle and bustle of the city in an instant. There is a small stream running through the park. The water comes from the distant mountains and is crystal clear. When it flows through the park, it converges into a small waterfall. The waterfall is not spectacular, but it has a unique natural and quiet charm, making it the biggest highlight of the view here.
Following the waterfall, there is a trail leading to the upstream of the waterfall. The trail is lined with lush trees and blooming wild flowers, with small animals occasionally running through the woods, making it feel like a paradise. Following the river upstream, you can also wander in the primeval woodland composed of towering ancient trees, feel the fragrant breath of nature, and listen to the crisp and beautiful sounds of birds and flowers.
Shimohodani Forest Park is definitely a rare paradise in Tokyo. It provides an excellent place for urbanites to relax, completely away from the hustle and bustle, and immerse themselves in the tranquil beauty of nature. I sincerely recommend this secluded place to you, hoping that you can completely relax your mind here and appreciate the unique tranquility and harmony of nature.

[Tokyo] Cute dragon fortune slips at shrines
It's round and round. And it's smiling 🐲
When it comes to dragon shrines suitable for the Year of the Dragon in 2024, Tanashi Shrine, which enshrines the Five Dragon Gods, is one of the best dragon power spots in the country. It's said to be five times more effective ♡
There are a wide variety of fortune slips and goshuin stamps.
Above all, these dragon fortune slips are so cute that I took home all of them 🤣
Each dragon has a direction and a blessing.
• East Blue Dragon: Improved skills and career success
• South Red Dragon: Improved luck and improved grades
• Center Golden Dragon: Improved luck and happiness
• West White Dragon: Improved financial luck and good relationships
• North Black Dragon: Improved health and safety of the home
However, there is a big warning on the website about the fortune slips, saying "Please note that there are no divine blessings based on the color."
Unlike charms, these are just fortune slips, so choose your favorite color~♫

Shrine with the Five Dragon Gods】Tanashi Shrine
Located a 6-minute walk from Tanashi Station.
Dragons are enshrined everywhere in Tanashi Shrine.
Known as the Five Dragon Gods, they are directional deities based on feng shui, believed to lead people in better directions.
Tanashi Shrine enshrines the Five Dragon Gods based on the philosophy of the Five Elements, with the Golden Dragon God in the central main hall, the Azure Dragon God in the east, the Vermilion Dragon God in the south, the White Dragon God in the west, and the Black Dragon God in the north as protectors. Additionally, the large ginkgo tree on the shrine grounds is cherished by many as the sacred tree of each Dragon God.
Amulets related to the five dragons are also sold.
As 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, I visited Tanashi Shrine, famous for its five dragon gods.
The cherry blossoms had fallen a little, but there were still many worshippers.

Japan 🇯🇵 My favorite country in Asia
Japan is my favorite country in Asia , as there are so many food cuisine and beautiful views that made me feel enjoyable and cheerful. One of the best food I have eaten in Japan is A5 beef and sashimi. The tender of the beef is amazing and it is soft like butter !
Furthermore, I have been the Fuji mountain to capture the amazing reflection view which was spectacular!
My recent trip to Japan overall was fantastic, I managed to see the Gundam and driving on the road!

[Tokyo/Tanashi Shrine] Tori-no-ichi Festival, chrysanthemums and ginkgo trees
Tanashi Shrine is located in Nishitokyo City, Tokyo.
The main hall and worship hall are designated as tangible cultural properties by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and you can see the magnificent carvings by Shimamura Toshiaki, a carpenter from the Edo period!
Tanashi Shrine holds the Tori-no-ichi festival every November.
Large rakes are set up at the torii gate, and rake shops line the approach to the shrine.
There are also outdoor stalls, and since it is the time of the Shichi-Go-San festival, the shrine grounds are more crowded than usual.
In autumn, chrysanthemums are added to the shrine building, and the ginkgo leaves change color beautifully, making it a wonderful time to spend the day.

[Tokyo/Higashifushimi Inari Shrine] A shrine where you can feel like you're in Kyoto
It is a branch shrine of Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto.
If Fushimi Inari Taisha is to the west, Higashifushimi Inari Shrine is to the east.
From here, Higashifushimi Station is an 11-minute walk away.
The surrounding area is called "Higashifushimi." It was named after the shrine's founding.
Behind the main shrine building, there are many red torii gates and foxes that are unique to Inari shrines.
This is a place called "Otsuka."
You'll feel like you're in Kyoto! I recommend visiting the Otsuka.

Bucket list trip....
Saw this tour and found it ticked all the boxes including two bucket list items to tick off, Mt Fuji and the Shinkansen.
It was a bit of a hoof to the pick up point for us but thats no problem. The tour staff were friendly and helpful and explained everything we needed to know before boarding the coach.
Our driver Mr Kato was pleasant as was Take, our knowledgeable tour guide. It started off a clear day, and we could see Mt Fuji from the highway before we left Tokyo. Take gave us lots of interesting and relevant facts and through in a little humour too. We had enough pee stops and photo stops as the clouds started to creep in but we got great views of Mt Fuji, the 5th station was closed due to snow but that was fine the 4th station had great views too.
We drove to our lunch stop and had the traditional menu. There was heaps of delicious food and we didn’t even bother with dinner after the tour we were so full. We had the Drive to Hakone and lake Ashi and again Take gave us lots of relevant information as to the area and the hot springs. It was quite cloudy by now and we had our trip on the lake to the cable car. The mountain was really cloudy and you couldn’t see the top but what the hell.
We got to the top we couldn’t see much and it was blowing a gale and snowing but we were rugged up and managed to get to the shrine and have a prayer of thanks.
We made it to terra firma without incident and headed to the station and our trip to Tokyo station on the Shinkansen. This was another bucket list item to tick off. It was a fabulous end to a great day. We got to Tokyo station and can’t the subway to Shinjuku without incident thanks to Take’s instructions. What a great trip.

[Tokyo delicious pork cutlet Fuji Xi]
When I first ate the pork cutlet, I felt that this oily pork chops and rice were not very good, but I liked it later! One bite and a crisp squeak, the feeling of the teeth biting into the pork is very satisfying.
This time in Tokyo, I went to a recently popular Fujitsu, the main pig in Ibaraki Prefecture, and the Iwatani pig in Iwate Prefecture. The menu is mostly on the menu, and the price of the pork ribs and the production area are divided. Seafood set with fried shrimp and scallops is also available. Choosing an obstacle has chosen a package with three parts to compare. The rare part is called the core, which is the most tender. The fat in the shoulder is the least fat, and the Philip has a little fat. The set also comes with rice, cabbage and soup. There are mussels in the soup, very fresh.
