We visited the Nungwi zoo in Zanzibar out of curiosity and we were very pleasantly surprised. The zoo introduces you to a tour guide as you enter who is native to Tanzania and knows about the animals. Some of the smaller monkeys and deer can roam freely around the zoo. For most of the exhibits, the guide will take you into the zoo so that you can feed the animals which is very cool. We went to the turtle sanctuary in Nungwi which we were a little bit sceptical about. However, it was extraordinary! They staff teach you about the turtles first and there is a chance to see the baby turtles first. Then the exciting stuff starts and you can swim with them! They are so friendly and very used to humans. Afterwards we learnt more about the turtles and the threats they face #conservation #mytripvlog

Fat Fish Grill is located in the Aaman Beach Bungalows in Nungwi. They have quite a big central bar in the middle of the venue as well as some very good views of the Indian Ocean. They have a half price happy hour every afternoon for cocktails and the decor of the restaurant has a nautical theme which is very fitting for they surroundings that it is in. I’ve recently visited Zanzibar (Tanzania), I stayed in Nungwi which is mostly frequented by tourists all from all over the world. The prestine beaches and warm loving people of Zanzibar is one amazing place to visit anytime! Though most people advise against traveling during rainy season. When in Zanzibar please do enjoy the fruits, it was the best fruits I’ve ever head! Don’t miss a chance of meeting the Masai people, you’ll mostly find men by the Bea as they work as beach boys and females and children in the Massai village. There isn't much more to say. If I had to choose one place to revisit out of all the destinations I've been to, I would choose Zanzibar without a second thought. Everything you see is beautiful. Just being able to borrow this space for a moment is enough to bring tears to my eyes. I highly recommend experiencing this place at least once in your life. It's worth it. Had the most amazing solo trip in Zanzibar. Bumped into an old friend who showed me around Stone Town 😍. Amazing spot by the beach to be honest! Then headed over to Nungwi for some much fun and beach time 🕺🏽 Really amazing reception from the time I got to the hotel,the staff were very nice to me! The beach bars and restaurants were my highlight,my favourite has to be Zava. Cocobello also has a very good night life scene as a club,so much entertainment there. I'd definitely go back there in a heartbeat!!!

The coast is clean, there is no litter and algae. The beach is divided into several parts assigned to the hotels. It is always crowded here. You can swim at high and low tides due to the great depth, but you need to be careful. The sea-floor slope is smooth, there is sand at the bottom. Nungwi is suitable for diving. It is deep and there are reefs with beautiful fish, algae and corals here. There are many banana and coconut groves on the shore, which provides natural shade and additional protection from the scorching sun.#whitebeach

We found M&J Cafe in Nungwi by accident. It is a cute cafe the has a wide offering of food and drinks available on the menu for very affordable prices. Unlike other places in the area, they accept Visa card which is good to know. I would highly recommend the fish sandwich as it is freshly prepared and tasted great. Amaan Beach Bungalows are a set of bungalows that are situated in the resort of Nungwi, Zanzibar. The resort is a very big one with lots of bungalows that range in size and views (pool, garden or beach). They have a tour operator on-site as well as a massage parlour and a Padi Dive centre instructor.
