Directly on the river Roer and the lively Roerkade and adjacent to the historic city center. Living in Germany, most restaurants and clothing stores are closed on Sundays. In the neighbouring country of the Netherlands, they are open so I dropped by! What's famous there is that it has one of the largest outlet malls in Europe, the Designer Outlet! They have almost all the famous and popular brands in Europe. The streets are also very beautiful so you can enjoy some light sightseeing.

But in July, which is the big mid-year sale season in Europe, there are even more special prices that will entice shoppers. I have to say that you have to stop by. The atmosphere here is very large and spacious. The surrounding decorations are cute, like a fairytale village. There are places to sit and relax at intervals. There is a playground. As for the restaurants, there are stalls selling sausages, crepes, coffee, bubble tea, and large, comfortable restaurants like Starbucks, burger shops, steakhouses, Asian food, cafes, etc. If you have time, you can walk around, shop, rest, take pictures, and eat all day long. The products here are very diverse, such as Adidas, Nike, and Puma. They have set up a large outlet building here. Other fashion products include Gucci, Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Birkenstock, The North Face, Crocs, Karl Lagerfeld, Levi's, UGG, Moschino, Versace...etc., including kitchenware from the doll brand, Samsonite luggage, cosmetics...and many more. You can really find everything in one place. However, each brand may not have all models. Another thing I like is that it is very convenient to travel here. Great food close to galleries and places of touristic interest. This is a great spot for lunch. We stopped by on recommendation and glad we did. The Cheeseburger was good and my chicken sandwich was really tasty. The person who took our order did not know what was actually on the menu and we needed to get assistance to place our order. We ordered drinks without a meal and had to request we get them after our food had arrived. Super delicious coffee with dedicated barista, amazing neighboorhood, delicious cinnamon snails, very small but tastefully decor. I loved it. The seating can be slightly tricky. The interior is quite compact and seating inside/outside is limited. Interestingly, many of these seats are frequently taken by off-duty staff having chats. It's an unusual for staff, but worth noting cause it happens everyday. So don't count on finding a seat. Regardless, it's a top spot for grab-and-go coffee. #hollandtrip #myitinerary #thingstodo

The place is located in the tourist district and is a very cozy place to be. My friend and I just had a flat white and cortado on our first visit. I hate when I go into a place and you just feel right away, that the person behind the counter don't have the slightest idea what a good coffee is done. Don't worry, none of that here, it was tasty, the milk was perfectly steamed! They serve crispbread with different toppings, croissants and organic youghurt with homemade granola. Delicious croque monsieur and coffee! Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. The food was beautiful and the coffee was the best I have had in roermond. Cute little cafe with really healthy delicious food. About 7 mins away from Juno bakery, after having a bit of sweet indulgence. I was looking for some healthy savory brunch items. Accidentally discovered this little cute place, the tuna mousse or tuna salad was quite amazing with the right amount of mayo and mustard sauce just enough to add a tiny bit more spice. Awesome coffee spot, team is focused on making world class coffee, I had latte with beans from Mexico smooth yet with subtle hazelnut flavour. Also plain croissant was good. Must must visit for coffee lovers. Their espresso and pour over were super tasty and well prepared, and they even offered us to try the batch brew, which was also very nice and fruity. The staff is very friendly and the location looks pretty dope with that industrial vibe. All in all very chill and lovely. Would happily come again. Ordered an espresso (Kenya) and flat white (Costa Rica) – both amazing. Friendly barista and cool outdoorsy vibe. I was brought here by a friend and I just had a latte on that visit. A truly memorable latte. The cardamom bun is excellent and so it their cheese and whipped butter & bread plate. It gets pretty busy so there’s a bit of a wait. Filtered coffees & food are served immediately but prepare to wait for your latte or other coffee orders. We ordered the bruch plate and the veggie brunch plate and both were absolutely amazing. The main difference was that the standard one comes with 3 tiny bites of sausage and an egg. Sandwiches were packed (or stacked) with filling. We also ordered the nachos to share. We easily could have just eaten the nachos between us - without the sandwiches as well - but all were delicious. A lovely place with very friendly stuff and a nice variety of aromatic beans to chose from to take home with you. Although the coffee we took to go was rather on a sour side for our taste (both cortado and batch brew) and slightly overly fruity. Although we both actually don’t mind the fruitier beans. Probably just wasn’t our day, the place is nevertheless definitely worth a visit. Federico’s service was absolutely exceptional. Got a cappucino with beautiful coffee art! It's flavour was different from anything I've had before, very delicate, subtle, and the coffee was smooth to drink. Staff is always friendly and the espresso based drinks are always served on point. Really nice interior design, too. Their latte was incredible! There is seating inside for 3-4 people so if you come on a rainy day, which there seems to be a lot of in town, you may have trouble finding a seat. Plenty outside though if it's nice. When I arrived the barista was talking to a lady who felt her order was a bit watery. The friendly barista insisted to make her a new one. I then found the seriousness of this place, a very good sign for coffee nerds. It's a very professional set up. The aroma of the flat white I ordered completely blowed me away, so sophisticated and well-balanced. If you’re looking for a Dutch breakfast / brunch sets with a slight twist, you have to try this place out. While the signature plate didn’t wow me, every item on the plate tasted perfect, and the flavours go well with one another. We had a very nice brunch there, but mostly we enjoyed how kind the waiters were, helped us with our order. It felt cozy and we really liked our time there. We enjoyed a fantastic brunch here! The staff—both the waiters and waitresses—were lovely and friendly, adding to the welcoming vibe. I visited here with a friend and this was amongst the most beautiful cafes. There were even people getting photoshoots done and the usual bunch of influencers etc. Smooth cafe lattes and buttery crossiants. Easy to see why the cafe is so popular. Long wait for coffees due to the queues. Really well dialled in light to medium roast coffee. Very professional baristas with a down to earth approach. Probably the best caffe latte I have ever had. It's quality coffee and the baristas are experts. They take their time in creating your coffee to ensure quality. They also sell their beans, a must-buy for any coffee lover. My latte was perfect! I think this would be a good spot to buy beans as well. There are a few tables outside along the sidewalk and a few tables in the back. The design is blue and white and simple. It works. Excellent pastries (in particular the almond croissant, the croissant and the cinnamon roll) and good coffee. Very modern and welcoming decor. And free still and sparkling water. Overall, it's a nice bar in the center of the touristic area. Yet, it doesn't get too crowded. We had a croissant, a cardamom brioche and two coffees. Very nice little café, pleasantly and modernly furnished. Super delicious coffee and the croissant also tasted very good. The prices are high but reasonable depending on the environment. It was very full on a Saturday, but we were lucky with the space. From the price point, while it is not cheap but the prices are not more expensive than other cafes in the vicinity. I heard there's a famous outlet in the Netherlands, so I went there. From luxury brands that Koreans like to Dutch cosmetics brands, it was really wide, there were a lot of things to see, and it was cheap, so it was a fun memory😃
