Grass volume 168 steps
Caoliang 168 stairs
Climbing stairs seems to be a common occurrence in Busan.
Busan also took advantage of the terrain. Not only are the houses in Gamcheon Culture Village built against the mountain, but the 168 Steps at Choryang are also built in the same way. But there is an even more terrible "devil's staircase" here, which is steep and long, with 168 steps, which is 6 stories high. Looking up from the bottom, it is really not impressive. The person climbing the stairs with me said, "It's okay, we can take the monorail two floors up." Reality is always so cruel. It happened that the train was undergoing maintenance, and we were already in a dilemma halfway up, so we had to continue to the top.
Back then, these 168 steps were a shortcut to Busan Port. It is said that there were three wells underneath them, and the residents living there had to carry shoulder poles and buckets to fetch water every day. I was able to carry on just to make a living in the past, so why would it be so hard to experience it now?
