I love all the works this time! My favorite is the toy made of colorful wires and balls. My second favorite is the painting and essay on the fabric sewn on the circus🎪 tent. While listening to Deng Yuejun's tour, I felt like I needed to drink a glass of iced American coffee. Some of the terms the artist used regarding mechanical devices were a little difficult to understand; they were too professional. / Some of his mechanical devices are related to nature. The inspiration came from the artist's childhood observation of plants in the mountains. / He thinks that human facial features are very interesting. The ear itself is an organ of hearing and its shape is also very beautiful. Figure 3 “Diptera Mechanical Butterfly V (Ear)” is not only a mechanical butterfly, but also has the shape of ears, and is an absolutely symmetrical triangle. / Each of his works involves different disciplines, and some professional matters require cooperation with professionals. In addition to artistic expression, Deng Yuejun also needs to do more rational work such as designing what kind of screws to use, what texture of screws, the thickness of the gears, the degree of connection and the proportional relationship. So I never expected his paintings to be like this. Many of his works are actually his installation plans. / Especially the green one, the two land-like patterns can be understood as our consciousness area. From the perspective of the installation sketch, LED white plane light is added. The installation can rotate and move, and there will be areas with overlapping colors during movement, which will produce some randomness. / From the perspective of painting, there is an ocean and energy waves in the picture.
