Maldives, a small city full of tourists seeking peace and romance. We booked a flight ticket with trip.com with AirAsia flying directly to the Maldives and booked a stay at Adaraan Prestige Vadoo, a 5-star resort with a butler in every room. The rooms here have a small private pool and a jacuzzi in every room. And it is an overwater villa with all inclusive, including everything in the room. This island is not very big. You can walk around it in no time. There is a house reef diving spot 🪸 which is quite good. There are a lot of fish, but the dive spot is not very wide. There are a lot of sharks to see 🦈 There are Thai staff, including a Thai chef. Don't worry that the food will be inedible. #Christmas in the hotel Celebrate Christmas party at 5-star resort in Maldives at adaaran prestige vadoo We booked with all about maldaives for 3 days and 2 nights. We went on Friday which is Maldivian day. There were so many people at the airport. But the hotel had a Christmas celebration. There was a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and a hula hoop show. There was also a Madivian night buffet. Most of the food was Indian and Maldivian food. But there was also chicken steak, mahi-mahi fish steak, glass shrimp, beef steak and grilled beef salad with authentic Thai flavors because there is a Thai chef (P'Toi) here!!! (You can request Thai food for every meal with the bustler in the room.) Like the day we returned, we had shrimp congee and chili soy sauce. I almost cried. I miss Thai food. The food is super spicy. 😂 PS. I don't recommend going on Friday and returning on Sunday like us. There were so many people at the airport! P.S. For the return flight, I recommend leaving 3 hours. Had an amazing time in this beautiful resort. 15 minutes from Male International Airport by speedboat. Welcome greeting by the staffs upon arrival at the gate. We were offered short orientation and wristband. Once the gate was opened, it was like picturesque paradise! The welcome drink at the Dhoni Bar. It comes with the unlimited drinks. Then we headed to the swimming pool. Kids loved it so much. Nice pool with stunning beach view. Swimming and snorkelling in the blue water with lots of house reef. Next it was lunch time. Delicious buffet lunch with local and western food. We finished it off with ice cream. Back to the beach and pool. Kids and water were just inseparable.. hahaha. Then in the evening, we had fun watching the shark feeding where many sharks and larger fish gathered around the shallow water. Before leaving the resort while waiting for the speedboat, we relaxed at the bar again to enjoy the breezy wind and witnessed the beautiful rainbow.

On the first day, we landed in Male around 8 o'clock. We used our passports to get a phone card at the airport, but later found out that it couldn't access the internet or make calls because we didn't add money to it. However, it could receive calls and messages for some reason after activation. At around 10:30, our guide picked us up and took us on a speedboat to the island, which took about 20 minutes. We even saw dolphins on the way! When we arrived, the receptionist greeted us and took us to check-in. We got our room around 12 or 1 o'clock. We were too tired from the flight, so we took a nap first, then went out to find food, watched the sunset, and booked a day trip for the next day. The following days were basically repeating this routine. The next day, I joined package 2 of Shadow Palm. This route is quite good, with nurse sharks, Coco Yak's uninhabited sandbar, dolphins, manta rays, and a visit to the stringray at Filehoo Island. However, we didn't see the manta ray, only saw dolphins twice. They start booking the itinerary for the next day at 7:30 pm the night before. Package 2 is available almost every day, but the other two routes may not be available depending on the number of reservations. On the third day, we went on a day trip to Vaadhoo Island, booked through Triton Hotel. They were quite responsible and could be contacted via Viber or WhatsApp. If you don't have those apps, they will contact you through the hotel front desk. They even let us board the island half an hour early. Vaadhoo Island is quite small, but the snorkeling is decent. This package includes the fast boat fee, island fee, free flow of drinks, one lunch, swimming pool, towels, and basically you don't need to spend any more money. The trip runs from 8am to 5:15pm. The boardwalk to the water villas is not accessible. After arriving, you can find a beach chair with an umbrella and enjoy a day of relaxation. It is recommended to go snorkeling in the morning because the water is shallower and the waves are smaller, making it easier to reach the sea trench. We snorkeled until noon and then had lunch (12:30-2:00), followed by an afternoon of lounging on the beach. There is afternoon tea at 3:30 and a shark feeding activity on the water villa boardwalk at 5pm. The only downside is that the food is not good.

Last time when I go to the Maldives I really wanted to stay at luxurious place like Adaaran Prestige Vadoo. Really cozy, luxurious, beautiful and privacy. But, when I think I will go to so many activities, not come to relax at hotel, then I choose another more pleasant hotel. But, I still choose to come to this private hotel just for snorkeling and relax at their beach for a day. Really worth with what I paid! The water really clear. No need to snorkeling, you still can see a fish from your chair. Fantastic experience when I can see really beautiful fish, even not in deep water. For information this Adaaran Prestige Vadoo is a luxurious Maldives Island resort that stands out amongst the best. The list of indulgences that awaits you at the Maldives Island resort can only be matched by the captivating lushness of the surroundings. ​ If you stay here you can swim 24hour with fish including shark. But for me, enough a day trip for exploring this island. Nothing much can do except swimming, snorkelling, wait for sunset and sunrise and feed fish. Vado Island is the smallest of the resort islands in Madai, about 10 minutes walk around the island. With natural beach views and soft golden sands, the luxurious hotel facilities make Vado Island a natural and luxurious resort.
