A bit like Noah's Ark, this desert park brings together all the animals of central Australia and puts them in convenient locations for viewing. The park is divided into desert area, sand area and forest area, and you can mingle with this vast desert and more than 120 kinds of animals and more than 350 kinds of plants that live in it by walking. There is a 1.6-kilometer walking trail in the park, which is easy and pleasant to walk. If you are lucky, you can also encounter kangaroos, wild boars and short fat wrens during the visit. The park faithfully reproduces the habitats of the animals, and the park provides helpful signboards that explain the changing seasons and how local indigenous people adapt to their natural environment and use these natural changes to plan their lives. In the nocturnal animal exhibition hall, you can observe the living conditions of nocturnal animals such as owls, bats and rodents in the dark, as well as endangered bandicoots and ghost bats. If you want to watch eagles or other raptors pounce, head over to the Nature Theater.
