The weather was perfect, and I got to explore some beautiful natural landscapes, including the stunning Charyn Canyon and the serene Kolsai Lakes. The people were friendly, the food was delicious, and I loved learning about the rich history and culture of the country. I would definitely recommend Kazakhstan as a summer travel destination ☀️

The Kolsai Lakes National Park houses a system of three lakes, nestled among the hills of the Northern Tien Shan Mountains, approximately 300km east of Almaty. They are also called “The Pearl of the Tien Shan” and after visiting the lakes, you’ll totally get why! The 3 lakes are so clear that, when the sun is out, the surrounding forests, hills, and snowy mountain peaks are mirrored in the water.
