I am in Zhejiang, not Russia or Manchuria
I have been to Hengdian three times, and this was the first time I stepped into the gate of the New Yuanmingyuan. Wow, this replica of the Old Summer Palace, which cost 30 billion yuan, is so beautiful that it makes me intoxicated. I can’t imagine how magnificent the original Old Summer Palace must have been! This garden is divided into four areas: spring, summer, autumn and winter. This time I visited the Spring Garden and the Summer Garden. There are garden scenery and European-style buildings everywhere. It is really a visual feast. I feel like I have to come here and check in once in my life to leave no regrets!

🎈Qingming River Tour
This is the same filming location for "Dream of Red Mansions" and "Knowing Your Destiny"! It is like the "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" by the great Song Dynasty painter Zhang Zeduan is vividly presented before your eyes, taking you back to the Northern Song Dynasty to feel the folk customs and quaint buildings of that time. Walking here is like walking into a famous painting, where you can experience the leisurely entertainment of the ancients firsthand.
Don’t forget to visit Fanlou, which was a luxurious restaurant at that time; stroll along Imperial Street to feel the royal style; walk around Dasongfang to see the urban life of the Song Dynasty; and the must-visit Hongqiao, standing on the bridge, you can have a panoramic view of the scenery of the entire park. Oh, by the way, this place called “Famous Paintings Resurrection” is also amazing. It makes you feel like you are in the same frame with the characters in the paintings. It’s really interesting!
It will take about 3 hours to visit the entire garden, but I guarantee that every minute is worth it and it is definitely worth the trip!
🎈Dream Bund
As soon as it gets dark, the neon lights all light up, and it feels like I have stepped into the TV series "Fang Hua". The smell of snow, moon, wind and flowers in the old Shanghai of the last century hits you in the face. At this time, you put on a handsome windbreaker and stroll along the Yellow River Road. Hey, it feels like you have turned into Mr. Bao in the drama, so cool!
When you are strolling around, don’t forget to visit the Great World, which holds many memories of old Shanghai; stop and walk along the Yellow River Road to experience the unique urban style; take a photo next to the Jinhua Ship, which is retro and handsome; the tram and the clock tower are also check-in spots not to be missed.
The whole trip takes about three hours, but I guarantee you will have a great time, as if you have really walked through the old Shanghai of the last century.
🎈Yuanming New Garden Spring Garden & Summer Garden
To visit this park, I suggest you take a sightseeing bus, which saves effort and worry. Chunyuan is filled with the style of the Qing Dynasty palace and the beautiful gardens of the Jiangnan water town, which makes people feel happy just by looking at them. As for Xiayuan, the style has changed. It is full of Western-style European buildings, making it feel like traveling abroad.
Speaking of check-in points, there are quite a few. First, you have to see the twelve animal heads, which are full of artistic sense; the Great Fountain is also a must-visit place to feel the vicissitudes of history. The scenery at Haiyue Kaijin is unique and suitable for taking some beautiful photos. There is also the Russian Pavilion, where you can experience exotic customs; the Wuzhu Pavilion, a model of Chinese aesthetics, is not to be missed. Lanting has a strong cultural atmosphere, where you can quietly experience the elegance of the ancients. Finally, don’t forget to take a cruise to Fuhai and enjoy the leisurely time in the royal garden.
The whole tour will take about 4 hours, but I guarantee you will have fun every minute and it will be worth the trip!
🎈Qin Palace
As soon as I stepped into this Qin and Han Dynasty style building complex, my DNA was moved! Isn’t this the flavor of “The Untamed” and “Nirvana in Fire”? It feels so good! Especially when you walk onto that winding path, wow, that sense of fate and time travel, it’s just amazing, who can understand!
When walking here, you must check in at a few places. The first thing you have to do is walk along the corridor to feel the atmosphere of ancient times. Then the front square is also worth a look, it is open and solemn. Needless to say, the main hall is a must-visit place to feel the majesty of the ancient emperors. There is also the attic, where you can climb up and look far into the distance, and the scenery is unique.
The whole tour takes about two hours, but I guarantee that you will be immersed in that quaint world the entire time and you won’t be able to get out!
🎈Russian Pavilion
It's like moving Russia's St. Valisi's Cathedral directly here! Look at these nine towers. They are cleverly integrated together, with strange shapes and dazzlingly bright colors. To be honest, I've been to a real cathedral before, but standing here, I really can't tell the difference at all. Those delicate decorations and the extremely high degree of restoration made me feel like I had traveled to the Red Square and stood directly in front of St. Valisi's Cathedral in Russia! So amazing!
