#2024TravelReview Alpaca World is a zoo in Gangwon-do, South Korea, also known as Alpaca Park! Because they are mainly alpacas, which are docile, children are basically not too afraid. You can also pay to take the alpacas for a walk and take photos. The basic premise is to buy feed and feed them, then they will be very welcoming and the interactive experience will be very special. I'm really happy and well taken care of. My fur is so neat and beautiful! In addition to alpacas, there are other animals in the park such as rabbits and deer. After a walk around, it feels like spending a day with a group of small animals. The scenery in the park is also nice, and there are some trails for walking, which is really comfortable when the weather is good.

the reason for us to travel to South Korea was to visit Alpaca World. We book a tour to bring us there. In Alpaca World, we learn about the animal and its characteristic from the on site Alpaca experts. Do come early to see the grand entrance of the cute alpacas.You can walk and feed an alpaca with a small fee. it was a amazing experience! There are many places where you can meet the cute alpacas, but I think Hongcheon Alpaca World is the best in Korea.. I was worried that the ticket price would be a waste.. but guess what.. The large scale and well-managed size made my worries disappear.. 😄😄 We were worried about the heat that was close to 30 degrees when we entered, but there was a place to cool down, where they sprayed mist in the middle. The alpacas that we met while walking followed us around like dogs if we just held out our hands. ㅎㅎ The Forest Cafe, located at the highest point, is a place that makes you want to take a life shot because it is cool and has a great view. In addition to the alpacas, if you stamp various birds and animals, an hour or two will pass by quickly. It is only natural to get hungry. Now, shall we go find a good restaurant in Hongcheon??❤️❤️

In South Korea, Alpaca World isn’t just a game—it’s also a real-life destination! Alpaca World (알파카월드) is a famous alpaca-themed park located in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province. It’s a popular tourist spot where visitors can interact with alpacas and other animals in a beautiful natural setting.

The kids had a great time feeding the Alpacas. We had an enjoyable time here. However, this place may not be suitable for the elderly as you may have to walk uphill. There is a shaded area where those who choose not to walk uphill to sit and wait.

Before entering, there were many dos and don’ts informed by the staff. Regardless of following those set of rules, I was still kicked by an alpaca 🥲 reason? Because i fed another alpaca and not him. Traumatised. Other than that, the place was absolutely stunning located on top of a mountain. There were other animals such as camels, rabbits and birds. Buying the alpaca coins will give you a chance to buy feed for the animals there (not just for feeding alpaca). The place also has steep paths which might be hard for the elderly and those travelling with strollers. It’s best to take your time to stroll around and not rush. Really enjoyable, especially for children and animal lovers. The Alpaca's were super friendly and well behaved. They entered an arena where all the people were stood and rand around and approached everyone waiting to be fed. You just needed to out your hand out with the food on it and they gobbled it all up. The food was provided by the centre and more could be bought if needed. The cafe was really good with delicious Alpaca cakes and the shop was good too. Went on a tour to Alpaca World in July. We were asked to go on our on at Alpaca World and they would meet us in 1 hour time. It started off with the alpacas running down the hil and coming up to people, they were very friendly and were enthusiastic for food. Luckily the staff gave us some food to start off with and even gave us more if we asked. The alpacas all have funny haircuts (due to July being really hot) but I love it. After that, the alpacas were free roaming around the area and you can buy more food to feed them. The rest of the world were animals which was pretty cute as well. I think the only pain point in Alpaca World is that the terrain is uneven and the uphills and downhills are pretty steep, making it hard for children and elderly to navigate.

Bought a day tour package to Alpaca World, Nami Island, and Gangchon Rail Bike for about $100 per pax. Would I recommend? 1. Alpaca World - 8/10 as we got to feed and touch the alpacas, and watch other animals around the park like deers, rabbits and birds. 2. Nami Island - 6/10 as I felt a bit bored walking around the island as it all looked the same and there was not much to do there. 3. Gangchon Rail Bike - 8/10 as it was a nice experience cycling while admiring the scenery and feeling the wind in our hair as some parts were going downhill. It was an easy ride and the tunnels along the way were special and interesting. #cherryblossom2024

#cherryblossom2024 Alpacas are just such fluffy and cute animals, so when we heard that there's an alpaca world in seoul, we know we have to visit this place. Here at Alpaca world, the Alpacas are free to roam. You are allowed to touch them, feed them and play with them. Generally, the Alpacas are friendly and tame. Animal feeds are available for purchase and they are inexpensive. Allocate a whole day to alpaca world because this place is huge and feels like a zoo where you can see many other animals besides Alpacas. To name a few, there are goats, deers, rabbits, eagles, etc. My kids love alpaca world so much and there are various things that kids can do here. Totally worth our time here!

We booked a car to Alpaca World. It was so much fun, and we saw many animals that we hadn't seen for a long time. I think there are more alpacas in Rotorua than anywhere else, which is why I was so excited. It's the end of March now, and it's still cold. We actually wanted to see the cherry blossoms, but this year is different. There has been too much rain and it's too cold, so the blossoms aren't here yet. But we still had a lot of fun. If you are planning to visit nami island, why not include in Alpaca World? The show begins at 1010am korea time with these alpacas dashing down from up the hill after the crowd goes 'Alapca! Come here!' in korean. Very magnificent sight to witness. With the pre-prepared food in hand, visitors will be able to feed the Alapca. Just put the food on your opened palm and the alpacas will come to you naturally. Well, don't be mistaken, they come to you for your food and not you :P While busy taking photos of these adorable Alapcas and feeding them, don't forget to also pat their back & neck (not their head or butt because it's their sensitive spot) their back is so fluffy! After the show, you are free to roam around the place which also house other animals like poney, deer, goat, etc. But do spend most of the time with these alpacas, they are really adorable and naturally makes you happy! P/S: It's ~2hrs drive from seoul. #wheretogo

If you need a short escape from the busy Seoul, perhaps you should take a day trip to Alpacas World. Located in Chuncheon which is about 75km or 1 hr bus ride from Seoul, but I’m pretty sure the trip is going to be worth it! As you reach Alpaca World, you will be completely astonished by the great view. Take note that the temperature will be slightly colder than Seoul since this located on the top of the mountain. I visited Alpaca World in December, when Seoul’s temperature was around 0 degree, and it was -12 degree in Alpaca World. There, you can feed the Alpacas, take a walking tour with them, pet them and definitely have to take picture with them! Not just Alpacas, you can see other animals such as rabbits, deer, pony, owls, eagles, birds & more. Before going back, don’t forget to get some souvenirs to remind yourself how cute the Alpacas are!
