I used my day off work to refresh myself with cherry blossom viewing and a hot spring. I heard that the weeping cherry trees in Ukiha were in full bloom, so I went there. I had some Ukiha apple curry on the way there, and the apple pie was delicious! Unfortunately, it was cloudy that day, but the weeping cherry trees were in full bloom. After that, I drove to the ruins of Akizuki Castle and enjoyed the cherry blossom trees in the castle town. Since I had come all the way to Ukiha on the way back, I went to Kotohira Onsen in Hita. The alkaline hot spring made my skin smooth. 2,000 yen for a family bath is cheap, so I was glad. #cherryblossomviewing

I went to Akizuki to see the Hina dolls, which are on display on weekends until March 5th. The many beautiful Hina dolls are lined up on the stairs leading to the shrine at the Akizuki Castle ruins. Akizuki is Kyushu's Little Kyoto. The seasons of cherry blossoms and autumn leaves are also beautiful. Founded in 1885, this is a long-established pigeon bean shop that was invented to prevent children from feeling hungry. But they have a variety of sweets and they are very delicious. This is a glamping facility in Asakura City, just a little ways from Hita! I stayed here for one night, and the showers were clean and the facilities were great! Every year on June 17th, the Yamada Weir Water Gate in Suijin Shrine is opened, and the Triple Waterwheel begins to operate. This time I chose to go to the Akizuki Castle ruins in the south of Fukuoka to experience the beauty of the red leaves. The photo shoot took place on December 1st. It takes 45 minutes to drive from Fukuoka City to Akizuki Castle Ruins. Before setting off, I checked the autumn leaves forecast online, which was quite accurate. The history of Akizuki Castle dates back to the 1200s, although it was abolished in the 1900s. 🏖️Environment/Facilities: However, the preserved Black Gate and Longhouse Gate have now become important historical sites, surrounded by nature. The Akizuki Castle ruins are not very large, and even taking photos only takes an hour to complete. In winter, the sunset time is early, starting at 4 pm. The red leaves under the sunset show the autumn atmosphere. The bridge was designated as a cultural property in Showa 31, making it a perfect spot combining history and nature. From Akizuki Megane Bridge, you can enjoy the natural beauty of all four seasons.
