#myhiddengems Anchor Cafe and Roastery is one of the must-Try cafes in Batam. The café specialises in roasting high quality coffee beans in-house, ensuring that each cup is rich in flavor. We ordered the famous Luwak coffee to try! The menu at Anchor Cafe is diverse, offering a range of Western and Asian dishes. From hearty breakfast options like pancakes and eggs benedict to sandwiches, burgers, and salads, there's something to satisfy every craving. They also have a selection of pastries and desserts to complement your coffee.

Busy place so best to make a reservation if you have 4 people but for small groups they can accommodate you (maybe not a proper table but they try to find space). They have a big sized eating area and lots of cakes/sweet goods. They have a large selection of coffees too so if you are a coffee lover just come try the black pour overs…they are good. They also make ice cream in house which was cool. We didn’t have food but we regretted it after arriving because everything looked really good. There is a nice selection of western dishes, salads, etc. We were lucky to meet the owner when we were there and he was supper friendly. Actually he was chatting it up with a lot of the guest and seemed to have a good relationship with the staff (laughing & joking together). We did try a couple pastries and they were good, the blueberry muffin was so soft and had a surprising cinnamon crust that made it even nicer. We highly recommend going here, you won’t regret it.

#batamtrip Excellent food and coffee. Everything is in big portion. Special shout out to the meat and potatoes. Must try. The burgers are very juicy. Staffs very informative about the food being offered in this cafe. Prices are cheap. Will definitely come back again when we are in town next time. Atmosphere very cosy. Would come back and try another menu!!!!!!!
