Visit Aqua Shard for a view of London at night
🌟For a stunning view of London at night, I recommend dining at Aqua Shard, a restaurant and bar on the 31st floor of The Shard.
🈯️Book a table in advance. There is a security check at the entrance, and a waiter will guide you to the 31st floor. After getting out of the elevator, walk down two flights of stairs to the restaurant, which is located in a sunken area. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a 360-degree view of the city, and you can enjoy a panoramic view of London from above.
🛎️There is no dress code, but don't dress too casually. I heard there is a minimum spend, but the waiter didn't mention it to us.
🪟The window seats were all booked, so we sat in the row next to the window, which also had a great view.
🍴The menu is interesting. Seafood is described as "swimming in the water" and meat is described as "walking on the ground." We ordered sparkling water, two aperitifs, oysters in cream sauce, pan-fried scallops, pan-fried cod, and lamb chops. After dinner, we ordered two cappuccinos.
🌄In summer, the sun sets late. After dinner, we continued to chat over coffee. The people at the table next to the window left, so we moved over. At 9:30 pm, the lights in the restaurant were dimmed, and a small candle was placed on each table. The atmosphere was very romantic, perfect for a quiet chat with friends or a romantic date.
I was in London for a short time, so I took a break from work to enjoy the beauty of the city.
🌇As the sun set, I was surrounded by diners chatting quietly. I drank refreshing sparkling water and enjoyed delicious food, which satisfied my taste buds and relieved my fatigue.
But in the end, the reality is...
You need a ticket to see the stars and the sea, and the road to poetry and the distance is expensive. 😮💨
