#cherryblossom2024 Arashiyama Rilakkuma Cafe in Kyoto is a 2 storey complex building which has a cafe and retail shop. The cafe offers a variety of food, drinks, snacks and desserts. The dishes are in Japanese style with the add on off Rilakkuma which makes it super cute. It always packed during lunch hours. You need to get a queue number first. The cafe is quite small, hence need to wait for minimum an hour before you can get a table. Each person has to order one item. You can't only order 1 item to share. #japantrip Never ever imagine that there is such a cafe that open with Rilakkuma-themed! They offer range of products from soft plush toys, keychain, mugs, landyard to cookies in boxes for travellers. They also have a small stall selling Rilakkuma-shaped egg waffles too! On the other hand, this is actually a 2-floors cafe. They offer range of dessert from cake to icey dessert but we decided not to have it as we need to move in to next destination. Psst! This is free entrance!

#fallishere Japan is famous for all its cute/kawaii cartoon characters and one of my such favourite cartoon character is Rilakkuma! This popular teddy bear actually has a themed shop and cafe in Arashiyama and the place is full of cuteness! You can get Rilakkuma plushies, pouches, notebooks and even snacks and drinks with Rilakkuma on it, at the cafe next door. I had their Rilakkuma castella mini cakes and they were so cute, fragant and yummy. Order their soft serve and you will get a Rilakkuma chocolate on it. Rilakkuma fans you have to come here! There's a few photo spots to take pics with Rilakkuma itself too.
