This weekend, we took the kids to Shanwei and stayed at the Yatu Hotel—an absolutely fantastic experience! 📍Prime Location: Right at Jinding Bay, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The sand is fine and soft, and the kids had a blast playing—catching tiny crabs, collecting seashells, and doubling the fun! When they got tired, heading back to the hotel for a break was super convenient. 🏠Comfortable Rooms: We booked a sea-view room, and the little one was thrilled the moment we stepped in. The bedding was soft and cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep. Save this quickly~ - 🚗 Convenient Transportation: 3.5h drive from Guangzhou / 1.5h direct high-speed train🚄! Travel is incredibly hassle-free! A sea view stay for 500+ per person is truly value for money~ - 🏨 Accommodation: Arrive in Shanwei at noon and check into Poly Art Tour Star Sea Resort. The balcony faces the sea🌊, a sea-view room. The room has 🈶 children's slippers, toiletries, and a step stool, truly understanding a mother's needs. It's also very close to Ermalu, and downstairs is the beach🏖 with direct access to JinDing Bay Beach. Digging in the sand, collecting seashells, chasing waves🌊 – so much fun~ - ✨Hotel Facilities: ✔Super large ball pit and slide at the indoor kids' club, plus an outdoor non-powered playground with 🈶 climbing frames, sand pits, and slides. Local Shanwei Resident's Recommendations for Accommodation + Activities! Depart from Guangzhou and arrive at Shanwei Jinmachi Bay in 2.5 hours. Traveling with kids is all about relaxation~ After checking in, I took the kids to dine on the first floor of the hotel. We ordered beef brisket hot pot and a few local specialties. The food was delicious, truly representing the flavors of Chaoshan cuisine~😋 After dinner, I took the kids to the beach to dig in the sand, then strolled along the seaside boardwalk and took a small train ride at Whale Bay Town~ For dinner, we went to the food stalls on Erma Road, where the ingredients were fresh and the prices were reasonable! The next day, after playing in the indoor ball pit, we checked out of the hotel and went to Baihe Temple to experience the tidal flats🌊~ Unexpectedly, this place was even more suitable for kids! Because it was low tide, we could dig for mussels and catch small crabs🦀~ The kids had a blast~ This trip to Shanwei was truly enjoyable~ Next time, I'll plan a longer stay to explore more places!🥳🥳🥳

Who knew you could enjoy the beach in winter? It's not too hot or sunny, and the cool breeze is just right. There are fewer people, and the scenery is beautiful. We caught a stunning sunrise and sunset. 🌅❤️❤️ 👉 We stayed in a family sea view room at the Shantou Yatu Xinghai Hotel. We were amazed by the cozy decor as soon as we walked in. The room was space-themed, and there were cute children's tables and chairs. You can see the Jinting Bay beach from the room. When our baby wanted to play in the sand, we could just walk out the door. It was also super convenient to chase the waves. The food was delicious, and there were so many options. It was the perfect family vacation. 🤩 The hotel has an indoor children's club with a ball pit and slide. The outdoor activity area is also huge, with climbing frames, slides, sand pits, and more. Our baby had a blast, and we got to relax. 👍 🧐 The Whale Bay Town is just a few kilometers from the hotel. The Ferris wheel 🎡, train 🚂, and carousel 🎠 make for great photo ops. We had a wonderful weekend with our baby. ❤️
