Ascott Marunouchi Hotel is a family-friendly hotel that is perfect for living
#TokyoHotel
▪Indoor
This is a relatively new hotel with very good hardware and software, comparable to a five-star hotel. This is the most satisfactory hotel with a kitchen that I have stayed in in Tokyo.
Bathroom hardware is Hansgrohe except for the TOTO toilet, kitchen appliances are AEG, washing machines are Panasonic;
There are slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste and towels for children;
The kitchen is fully equipped and clean (our 2 double rooms have a door that connects them, one with a microwave but no induction cooker, the other with an induction cooker), and the refrigerator is huge;
This time I only booked the most common king-size room, and the room size is much larger than many five-star hotels (I have stayed in several chain five-star hotels before, and it was difficult to put a luggage passage, which was really uncomfortable). Especially when traveling with children, I think it is necessary to have a spacious room.
▪Service
All the hotel staff are very warm and attentive. As it is a Singaporean brand, the waiters all speak English well, and several of them are very fluent. There are Chinese waiters for breakfast.
Location
Located in Marunouchi, Tokyo's financial district, next to the Imperial Palace Gaien, it has super convenient transportation, just above Otemachi Station, and it takes only one second to get to the hotel from the station exit. I never paid attention to Otemachi before. This station has many railway lines, and it can directly connect to popular areas such as Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Ueno, and Ikebukuro! There is a Lawson downstairs and a Family Mart across the street.
Others
The buffet breakfast includes white porridge (which is very necessary for the elderly and children who are prone to gastrointestinal discomfort), Western and Japanese breakfasts. There are not many choices but they are all delicious and exquisite.
