I went to Atami last summer and I was looking forward to this place as a whole! Atami is only 40 minutes from Tokyo and 20 minutes from Odawara. It is a hot spring town with a sea view. The shopping street outside the station is very charming, nostalgic and cute. I love Atami, which is easily accessible from Tokyo in just under an hour by Shinkansen, and I went there with a friend two years in a row!
