An easy-to-visit hot spring resort ♡ Atami ♡
I love Atami, which is easily accessible from Tokyo in just under an hour by Shinkansen, and I went there with a friend two years in a row!
Even on weekdays, if you take a half-day off in the afternoon and take the Shinkansen at around 3 p.m., you can arrive before evening, so I really recommend it.
This time, I took an overnight trip to coincide with the day of the fireworks festival.
Fireworks are associated with summer, but Atami holds fireworks festivals almost every month regardless of the season, so if you missed them in the summer, why not try the winter fireworks from now on?
There are many popular Atami sweets shops, and we bought five kinds at Mill Cheese and ate them in our room♪
Before the fireworks, we had seafood bara chirashi for dinner.
The fireworks lasted a full 30 minutes, and the echoes of the sea and mountains were very impressive!
Of course, the hot springs were not peculiar, and I was very satisfied with the leisurely soak.
Atami sightseeing was refreshing and satisfied both the stomach and the eyes, so I'd like to go again in a different season!
